The YSESM symposium provides a forum for young researchers and engineers, PhD students and students dealing with subjects of experimental mechanics. The seminar is dedicated to the main activities of the department of Optical Materials, FZU - Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in the course of national and international collaborations. In particular, the advanced methods of the (nano)materials synthesis, fabrication, and characterization are presented and discussed in detail. The aim of the seminar is to establish more of the effective paths of communication and data exchange by creating and maintaining links among the teams of national and international experts in various fields of physical and chemical knowledge, both experimental and theoretical.

These proceedings contain peer-reviewed papers that are based on the invited lectures, short communications, and posters presented at the 21st seminar Programs and Algorithms of Numerical Mathematics (PANM) held in Merkur Hotel, Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic, June 19-24, 2022.\nThe seminar was organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences under the auspices of EU-MATHS-IN.CZ, Czech Network for Mathematics in Industry, and with the nancial support provided by the RSJ Foundation. It continued the previous seminars on mathematical software and numerical methods held (biennially, with only one exception) in Alšovice, Bratříkov, Janov nad Nisou, Kořenov, Lázně Libverda, Dolní Maxov, Prague, and Hejnice in the period 1983-2020. The objective of this series of seminars is to provide a forum for presenting and discussing advanced topics in numerical analysis, computer implementation of numerical algorithms, new approaches to mathematical modeling, and single- or multi-processor applications of computational methods.

Komplexní monitoring a bilance zásob vody v malých povodích; 3. Hydrologické extrémy (přívalové povodně; sucho – typy a hodnocení); 4. Vliv vegatačního krytu a způsobu využití povodí na vodní režim; 5. Transportní procesy v půdě a vliv hydrofobie povrchové vrstvy na ně; 6. Cosmology on Small Scales 2022: Dark Energy and the Local Hubble Expansion Problem

One hundred years ago, Russian mathematician and physicist Alexander A. Friedmann applied the system of Einstein equations to the three-dimensional sphere with a time varying radius. In this way, he obtained a nonlinear ordinary differential equation which is called the Friedmann equation after him and serves now as a cornerstone of the standard cosmological model. Unfortunately, it is well known that this model exhibits a number of paradoxes. Thus, the main goal of the CSS 2022 Conference Proceedings is to discuss whether and how the Friedmann equation can be applied at the various spatial scales, from our local cosmic neighborhood up to the whole Universe, and if the existence of dark matter and dark energy are merely artifacts of the excessive extrapolations.

The objective of PHYSMOD is to bring together the community active in physical and numerical modeling of flow and dispersion processes occurring in the lowest part of the atmosphere using wind tunnels, water channels, or CFD models. PHYSMOD provides a forum where the most recent advances in fluid modeling, state-of-the-art in experimental work, and newly emerging research areas are discussed in an open-minded and friendly atmosphere. One of the main purposes is to encourage broader collaboration between researchers and transfer knowledge between the laboratories as well as generations. \n\n
