2019 - Czech 51. konference Archaeologia Historica byla věnována stému výročí založení Státního archeologického ústavu v Praze. Byla rozdělena na témata, která se věnovala historii archeologických institucí, metodologickému vývoji oboru, dlouhodobě zkoumaným lokalitám a významným osobnostem oboru. Ve vedlejší sekci zazněly příspěvky, které se věnovaly aktuálním výzkumům. The 51st conference Archaeologia Historica was dedicated to the centenary of the founding of the State Archaeological Institute in Prague. It was divided into topics that were devoted to the history of archaeological institutions, methodological development of medieval archaeology, long-term researched localities and important personalities of the field. 2019 - English The Crossroads III – A Stranger in the House. Foreigners in Ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern Societies of the Bronze Age conference has been held at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (Prague) between September 10 and 13, 2018. The main objective of the conference was to enhance our understanding of “foreignness” in ancient societies between the end of the Chalcolithic period and the end of the Late Bronze Age. This book collects some of the twenty most significant contributions presented at the conference. Some authors decided to approach the discussion from a theoretical perspective, or to present and discuss theoretical frameworks that could be used to explore at least some elements underlying the concept of “foreignness”. Others investigated sociocultural dimension involved in the presence of foreigners, or in their interactions with local communities. Cases from Egypt, Mesopotamia, Anatolia, and the Levant, covering the whole of the Bronze Age have been discussed. 2019 - Czech Publikace Jak psát transkulturní literární dějiny? obsahuje vybrané příspěvky z mezinárodní konference uspořádané 15. – 16. 11. 2018 Germanobohemistickým týmem Ústavu pro českou literaturu AV ČR v.v.i. Konference se zaměřila na teoretickou a metodologickou problematiku psaní dějin vícero literárních kultur v různých jazycích, jež koexistovaly na území českých zemí. Její součástí jsou příspěvky týkající se jak středověké slovesné produkce, exponovaného “dlouhého” 19. století až k první polovině století 20., tak i tematizující i celou řadu problémových okruhů (překlad, kulturní transfer, periodizace, vícejazyčnost, kánon, regionalismus, konfesionalismus) i teoretických a metodologických přístupů (postkoloniální studia, transkulturní teorie, nový historismus). Vedle odborného záměru rovněž usiluje tento sborník stimulovat další debaty o podobě budoucí literárněhistorické syntézy literatur(y) českých zemí napříč obory – bohemistikou, germanistikou i dalšími filologiemi a rovněž kulturní vědou či sociální a politickou historií. A publication How to write a transcultural literary history? contains selected contributions from the international conference held on 15th - 16th November 2018 by the Group for Research on Czech-German Intercultural Relations in the Bohemian Lands in the Institute of Czech Literature of the ASCR. The conference focused on the theoretical and methodological issues of writing the history of several literary cultures in different languages that coexisted in the Bohemian lands. It includes contributions concerning medieval literary production, the exposed “long” 19th century to the first half of the 20th century, as well as a number of problem areas (translation, cultural transfer, periodization, multilingualism, canon, regionalism, confessionalism) and theoretical and methodological approaches (postcolonial studies, transcultural theory, new historicism). In addition to the scholarly intent, this collection also seeks to stimulate further debates on the form of future literary-historical synthesis of literatures of Bohemian Lands across disciplines - Czech studies, German studies and other philologies, as well as cultural science or social and political history. Obsahuje odborné studie týkající se zakládání České národní rady v roce 1968, jejího parlamentního života v období normalizace i oživení po roce 1989. Druhou část tvoří vzpomínky aktérů všech tří etap tak, jak byly zaznamenány při konferenci. The volume opens a systematic research of the Czech National Council and more generally, of national parliaments in federal Czechoslovakia. It includes studies on establishing the National Council in 1968, its parliamentary life in late Socialist period as well as its revival after 1989. The second part contains memories by actors of all three of these stages recorded during the conference. 2019 - Czech Tématem plzeňského sympozia pro rok 2018 je čas – jeho význam pro člověka a společnost dlouhého 19. století. Modernizační procesy, jimiž se toto historické období vyznačuje, vedly k potlačení cyklického vnímání času ve prospěch linearity. Čas a jeho reflexe se z mysli filozofů a vědců přesunuly do každodenního života většiny lidí. Sympozium se těmto tématům věnovalo na základě otázek, které jsou v současnosti aktuální pro výzkum této problematiky z hlediska humanitních a sociálních věd. 2019 - Czech Sborník jubilejního 15. mezinárodního zasedání k problematice sepulkrálních památek, které se konalo v Praze 19. – 21. října 2016. Tyto unikátní pravidelné konference, pořádané od roku 2000 Ústavem dějin umění AV ČR, jsou zaměřeny na sepulkrální památky jako hmotné artefakty sepulkrální kultury a umělecká díla v tradičním pojetí, s věcným či metodickým vztahem ke středoevropskému kontextu. Nevyhýbají se ani tématům, které šířeji osvětlují kontext, ve kterém tyto památky vznikaly a funkčně se uplatňovaly. Důraz je kladen na interdisciplinární charakter zasedání. Vícejazyčná publikace obsahuje celkem 22 statí a 3 kratší zprávy, které pokrývají danou problematiku od středověku do 20. století. Nově byly zařazeny i příspěvky k památkám židovským a islámským. The proceedings of the jubilee 15th international session on the issue of sepulchral monuments, which took place in Prague on 19 October – 21 October 2016. These regular conferences, organized since 2000 by the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, are focused on sepulchral monuments as material artefacts of sepulchral culture and as works of art in the traditional sense of the word, with a factual or methodological relation to Central European issues. However, they do not not avoid themes that more widely explain the context in which these monuments were created and were functionally applied. An emphasis is placed on the nature of interdisciplinary expert meetings. Through their focus and periodicity, they are unique in the pan-European context. A novelty of this session was the inclusion of an independent block devoted to Hebrew monuments. The proceedings are divided into three parts, in terms of the religious context of the discussed themes – hence into parts devoted to Christian, Jewish and finally supplemental, but still in the Central European milieu, Islamic sepulchral monuments. It contains twenty-five papers in total, which deal directly or contextually with sepulchral monuments from the Late Middle Ages to the 21st century. Besides, the territorially Bohemian and Moravian issue as well as the German, Slovak and Polish issues make up a significant share of the work. The series Epigraphica & Sepulcralia has been the publication forum of these sessions since 2005.
