Abstrakt: This research aims to explore inter-professional collaborations to support children with SEN in preschool. Related research findings suggest that inter-professional collaborations in support service delivery improve the outcomes for children. It is also discussed that early childhood development is holistic and only conditionally can be subdivided into physical, psychological, cognitive, emotional and social development. Children with special educational needs receive various support services by different professionals, including medical, social, educational and psychological. Considering that all these dimensions in children development are interconnected there is a need to call for collaborative services to increase the effectiveness of each service. Communication between professionals is very important to ensure the awareness of the context of children and thus to provide comprehensive services.
