Changes in the knightly clientele of the counts of Slavata in the first half of the 17th century

The master's thesis is focused on the change of the knightly clientele in the middle of 17th century. The main example is based on knights in the area of Jindřichův Hradec, which was situated in the south-east of the Kingdom of Bohemia and in the south-west of the Moravian Margraviate. The first chapters deal with the change of client relations and their everyday lifestyle. It discusses the personality of the patrons and the change of the dominion of Jindřichův Hradec. Until 1604, the patrons were lords of Hradec and then the Slavata of Chlum and Košumberk. The main part of the thesis, based on scientific literature, published and unpublished sources tries to imitate the lives and property conditions of the knightly clients, namely, Babkové of Meziříčko, Čabeličtí of Soutice, Hodějovští of Hodějov, Lipovští of Lipovice, Malovcové of Malovic, Růtové of Dírná, Vencelíkové of Vrchoviště, Vratislavové of Mitrovice, Zahrádečtí of Zahrádky. The work also attempts to capture the Slavatov clientele as a structure that changed under the influence of the events of the Thirty Years' War, post-White-Mountain confiscations and the Counter-Reformation. Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá proměnou rytířské klientely v polovině 17. století, a to konkrétně na příkladu rytířstva usazeného v okolí jindřichohradeckého dominia, které se rozkládalo na jihovýchodě Království českého a jihozápadě Markrabství moravského. Úvodní kapitoly pojednávají o vývoji klientských vztahů v Čechách a jejich projevech v každodenním životě. Rovněž je zde pojednáno o osobě patrona a o vývoji jindřichohradeckého dominia. Patrony byli do roku 1604 páni z Hradce a následně Slavatové z Chlumu a Košumberka. Hlavní část práce se na základě odborné literatury a vydaných i nevydaných pramenů snaží rekonstruovat životní osudy a majetkové poměry rytířských klientů, a to konkrétně Babků z Meziříčka, Čabelických ze Soutic, Hodějovských z Hodějova, Lipoveckých z Lipovice, Malovců z Malovic, Růtů z Dírného, Vencelíků z Vrchovišť, Vratislavů z Mitrovic a Zahrádeckých ze Zahrádek. Práce se také snaží zachytit slavatovskou klientelu jako strukturu, která se proměňovala pod vlivem událostí třicetileté války, pobělohorských konfiskací a protireformace.

Onomasiological Analysis of English Bahuvrihi Compounds

The topic of this thesis is Onomasiological Analysis of English Bahuvrihi Compounds. In this thesis it is explained what bahuvrihi compounds are, and their main properties are described. Subsequently, it is explained what the branch of linguistics known as onomasiology is concerned with. Furthermore, in this thesis it is observed to what concrete types of characteristics of human or non-human entities bahuvrihi compounds may draw attention. It is also observed what morphological schemas bahuvrihi compounds may follow, depending on the type of a characteristic of human or non-human entities to which they are meant to bring attention. Also, it is observed how bahuvrihi compounds may be created so that they would draw attention to those types of characteristics. Each of the manners in which bahuvrihi compounds may be created so that they would draw attention to any of the given types of characteristics is shown on concrete already existent bahuvrihi compounds. Téma této diplomové práce je Onomaziologická analýza anglických bahuvrihi kompozit. V této diplomové práci je vysvětleno, co jsou bahuvrihi kompozita a také jsou popsány jejich hlavní rysy. Dále je vysvětleno, čím se zabývá jazykovědná nauka zvaná onomaziologie. V další části této diplomové práce jsou uvedeny konkrétní druhy rysů lidí či jiných entit, na které lze v angličtině poukázat s využitím bahuvrihi kompozit. Rovněž jsou uvedena morfologická schémata, podle kterých jsou bahuvrihi kompozita tvořena na základě toho, na který konkrétní druh rysu lidí či jiných entit mají poukazovat. Poté je výzkum zaměřen na způsoby, jakými bahuvrihi kompozita mohou být vytvořena tak, aby poukazovala na některý z uvedených druhů rysů lidí, případně jiných entit. Jakými způsoby lze v angličtině vytvářet bahuvrihi kompozita, aby poukazovala na kterýkoli z uvedených druhů rysů lidí či jiných entit, je ukázáno na konkrétních příkladech již existujících bahuvrihi kompozit.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of duels between nobles and townsmen in the early modern period. Its aim is to present the form of duels as a tool used to restore violated honour and at the same time as an important cultural phenomenon of pre-modern society. The thesis will therefore focus further on the role of honour, which represented a key element of noble and masculine identity, the loss of which had immeasurable consequences for the challenged individuals. Its violent defence was perceived as a socially legitimate but illegal act. The thesis will be concluded with an analysis and comparison of four duels that took place in the Kingdom of Bohemia between 1582-1651. Diplomová práce se zabývá tématikou soubojů mezi šlechtici a měšťany v období raného novověku. Jejím cílem je představit podobu souboje jakožto nástroje sloužícího k nápravě poškozené cti a současně významného kulturního fenoménu předmoderní společnosti. Práce se proto dále zaměří na úlohu cti, která představovala klíčový prvek šlechtické a maskulinní identity, přičemž její ztráta měla pro napadené jedince nedozírné důsledky. Její násilná obrana byla vnímána jako společensky legitimní, avšak protiprávní akt. Práci uzavře analýza a komparace čtyř soubojů, které se odehrály v Království českém mezi lety 1582 a 1651.

Preventive Restructuring as Protection against Bankruptcy

The topic of this thesis is the issue of preventive restructuring as protection against bankruptcy. It is a new and topical topic that solves the unfavourable economic situation of businesses and entrepreneurs in a different way than the insolvency law stipulates. Preventive restructuring has become part of the Czech legislative environment in response to the requirements of the European Union. The newly adopted law gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to restructure their companies in a timely and effective manner and thus avoid resolving their debt situation through bankruptcy. The thesis is focused on assessing whether there is any real hope in limiting or reducing the number of undesirable liquidations of viable businesses and enterprises due to this new aspect of Czech legal and economic life, as well as to evaluate the substance of business restructuring in comparison with the rules of insolvency law as a solution for negative economic situations of businesses. Tématem této odborné práce je problematika preventivní restrukturalizace jako ochrany před úpadkem. Je to téma nové a aktuální, které řeší nepříznivou ekonomickou situaci podnikatelů jiným způsobem, než je tomu ze strany institutů insolvenčního práva. Součástí českého legislativního prostředí se preventivní restrukturalizace stala v návaznosti na požadavky Evropské unie. Nově přijatý zákon dává podnikatelům možnost, aby se včas a účinně restrukturalizovali a vyhnuli se tak řešení své dluhové situace úpadkem. Práce je zaměřena na posouzení, zda díky tomuto novému institutu českého právního a ekonomického života je reálná naděje na omezení či snížení počtu nežádoucích likvidací životaschopných podniků a podnikatelů, jakož i zhodnocení podstaty tohoto institutu v porovnání řešení negativní ekonomické situace podle pravidel insolvenčního práva.

VLIV METEOROLOGICKÝCH PRVKŮ NA NEHODOVOST MOTOCYKLOVÉ DOPRAVY V JIHOČESKÉM KRAJI

This diploma thesis examines the influence of meteorological elements on the accident rate of the motorcycle traffic in the South Bohemian region from 2016 to 2020. The intention is to understand the interactions between the weather conditions and the number of motorcycle accidents. The thesis uses a wide and extensive police database of motorcycle accidents as well as meteorological elements such as temperature, wind, rain, new snow and sunshine. The base of the thesis is a new unique research methodology, which was supported by reports and literature dealing with this issue. Currently, there are not many studies devoted to this topic. The executed data analysis is using the correlation method, which is supported by individual graphs for each investigated element. The thesis result is finding that highest risk factor elements are temperature and sunshine. The segregated data and research can assist in traffic analysis and serve as a basic study for improving the safety of motorcyclist on roads in different weather conditions. Tato diplomová práce zkoumá vliv meteorologických prvků na nehodovost motocyklové dopravy v Jihočeském kraji od roku 2016 do roku 2020 včetně. Záměrem je porozumět, jaké jsou vzájemné vztahy mezi povětrnostními podmínkami a počtem motocyklových nehod. Práce využívá rozsáhlou policejní databázi motocyklových nehod a také meteorologických prvků jako je teplota, vítr, srážky, nový sníh a sluneční svit. Samotným základem je zcela nová a jedinečná metodika výzkumu, kterou podpořily tituly zabývající se touto problematikou. Ani v současné době neexistuje mnoho studií, které by se tomuto tématu věnovaly. Provedená analýza dat využívá korelační metodu, která je podpořena pomocí jednotlivých grafů u každého zkoumaného prvku. Výsledky této práce jsou, že největšími rizikovými prvky jsou prvky teplot a slunečního svitu. Roztříděná data a výzkum může dále poskytnout užitečné informace v dopravě a být výchozí studií k opatření zaměřená na zlepšení bezpečnosti motocyklistů na silnicích v různých povětrnostních podmínkách.

Analysis of the Compliance of the Declared Level of German Textbooks for Secondary Schools With the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in Terms of Lexis

The aim of the diploma thesis is to show, whether the German language coursebooks contain vocabulary which is adequate for primary school pupils and whether they follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The introductory theoretical part contains information about the range and thematic focus of the A1 vocabulary according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and points to the changes in the concept of teaching that occurred in the CEFR in 2018. The empirical part of the diploma thesis is based on a detailed analysis of the range of vocabulary in A1 level coursebooks that are currently offered for German language classes. It contains a description of the research methodology and the interpretation of the results regarding the outputs for another foreign language that are presented by the Framework Education Programme. In the conclusion of the thesis, there are some critical points of foreign language teaching that may lead to overloading pupils. Cílem diplomové práce je ukázat, zda učebnice německého jazyka obsahují slovní zásobu, která je adekvátní pro žáky druhého stupně základních škol a zda jsou v souladu se Společným evropským referenčním rámcem pro jazyky. Úvodní teoretická stať obsahuje informace o rozsahu a tematickém zaměření slovní zásoby na úrovni A1 dle Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky a poukazuje na změny v pojetí výuky, ke kterým došlo v Dodatku k SERR z roku 2018. Empirická část diplomové práce je sepsána na základě detailní analýzy rozsahu slovní zásoby v učebnicových souborech na úrovni A1, které jsou aktuálně nabízeny pro výuku německého jazyka. Obsahuje popis metodologie výzkumného šetření a interpretaci výsledků s ohledem na výstupy pro Další cizí jazyk, které uvádí Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání. V závěru práce jsou uvedena kritická místa výuky Dalšího cizího jazyka, která mohou zapříčiňovat přetěžování žáků.

Analysis of indices of social development and the growth of richness

The thesis deals mainly with economic growth, human development and their interrelations. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether there are correlations between economic growth and indexes of social development. And whether some social development indexes can be used as indicators of good or bad economic performance. The aim will be achieved through data analysis, which will examine the Human Development index, the Gini index and Gross Domestic Product per capita. Diplomová práce se zabývá především ekonomickým růstem, lidským rozvojem a jejich vzájemnými vztahy. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy dat zjistit, zdali existují vzájemné vztahy mezi ekonomickým růstem a indexy společenského rozvoje. A zdali mohou některé indexy společenského rozvoje sloužit jako indikátory dobrých či špatných ekonomických výsledků. Ke zkoumání byly zvoleny dva významné indexy: index lidského rozvoje a Giniho index.

The work deals with the organization of the building of the house and the possibilities of the construction solution. Turnkey methods are compared here, namely wooden construction and brick houses, as well as the possibility of self-construction. The diploma thesis was prepared using the methods of guided interviews with representatives of turnkey constructions, designers, and craftsmen. This information has been supplemented with real prices. For the investor, the decision between the methods includes the possibility of financing, the level of risk, the necessity of the investor's involvement and, last but not least, the time required. None of the three variants is worse than the others, and therefore it makes sense to consider all these variants. It depends on the investor's preference. Práce se zabývá organizací stavby domu a možnostmi způsobu řešení stavby. Jsou zde porovnány metody na klíč, a to dřevostavby a zděného domu, zároveň možnost stavby svépomocí. Diplomová práce byla zpracována metodami řízených rozhovorů jak se zástupci staveb na klíč, projektantů tak řemeslníky. Tyto informace byly doplněny reálnými cenami. Do rozhodování mezi metodami vstupuje pro investora možnost financování, míra rizika, nutnost investorova zapojení a v neposlední řadě časová náročnost. Ani jedna ze tří variant není jednoznačně horší než ostatní, a proto má smysl uvažovat o všech těchto variantách. Záleží tak na preferenci investora.

Aktuální globální problémy jako prostředek integrace zeměpisu a dějepisu na 2. stupni základní školy

Nowadays, current global issues are gaining more and more attention in the lower secondary school curriculum. Their involvement can be used to interconnect different subjects and promote cross-curricular connections in the curriculum. The multilayered nature of global issues calls for the involvement of activating teaching methods, greater pupils' involvement in learning, helps to develop critical thinking as well as to introduce pupils to various aspects of both global issues and general issues of life on Earth. This diploma thesis aims to present the possibilities of teaching current global issues using the interconnection between geography and history. For this purpose, it presents three teaching activities that deal with different global issues at different levels - global, regional and local. Testing these activities in the lower secondary school teaching setting establishes their sophistication, usability and popularity with pupils and teachers. The results are then reflected upon and linked to the theoretical basis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part is devoted to the outline of intersubject relations and integrated teaching, current trends in geography education, the interdisciplinary nature of geography and history, their position in the framework educational programme (Rámcový vzdělávací program = RVP) and methods of active teaching. Then the methodology of creating teaching activities and the methodology of testing them in practice are described. The analytical part subsequently describes the individual activities and the reflection on their testing in geography classes in lower secondary schools. In the conclusion of the thesis, the findings are summarized, commented on and linked to the theoretical background. Aktuální globální problémy dostávají ve výuce na základních školách stále větší prostor. Jejich zapojením lze propojovat různé vyučovací předměty a podporovat tak mezipředmětové vazby. Mnohovrstevnatost globálních problémů vyzývá k zapojování aktivizačních metod výuky, většímu zapojení žáků do výuky, pomáhá rozvíjet kritické myšlení a seznamovat žáky s různými aspekty, jak globálních problémů, tak obecně problematiky života na Zemi. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl představit možnosti výuky aktuálních globálních problémů za pomoci propojení zeměpisu a dějepisu. Za tímto účelem jsou v ní představeny tři výukové aktivity, které se zabývají různými globálními problémy na rozdílných úrovních - globální, regionální a lokální. Otestování aktivit ve výuce na základní škole zjišťuje jejich propracovanost, využitelnost a oblibu u žáků i vyučujících. Výsledky jsou následně reflektovány a propojeny s teoretickými východisky. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a analytickou. Teoretická část se věnuje nastínění mezipředmětových vztahů a integrované výuky, současným trendům v geografickém vzdělávání, mezioborovostí zeměpisu a dějepisu, jejich postavení v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu a metodám aktivního vyučování. Následně je popsána metodika tvorby výukových aktivit a metodika jejich testování v praxi. Analytická část pak popisuje jednotlivé aktivity a reflexi jejich testování v hodinách zeměpisu na základních školách. V závěru práce jsou zjištěné výsledky shrnuty, okomentovány a propojeny s teoretickými východisky.

The diploma's thesis focuses on the marketing communication of a specific company newly entering the market. The primary goal of the thesis is to create a marketing plan, which is developed based on all collected data. The selected enterprise specializes in financial consulting. Through a survey, customers' opinions on marketing communication in the service sector were collected. The interview with the business owner provided insights into the current and ideal state of marketing communication. Market data were analysed, yielding essential information. On the basis of this supporting data, a marketing communication plan for the Selected Company for the year 2025 was subsequently drawn up. The profitability of this plan was verified by calculation. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na marketingovou komunikaci konkrétní společnosti nově vstupující na trh. Primárním cílem práce je vytvoření marketingového plánu, který je vypracován na základě všech nasbíraných dat. Vybraný podnik se specializuje na finanční poradenství. Prostřednictvím průzkumu byly shromážděny názory zákazníků na marketingovou komunikaci v sektoru služeb. Rozhovor s majitelem firmy přinesl pohled na současný a ideální stav marketingové komunikace. Tyto sebrané údaje o trhu byly analyzovány a poskytly základní informace. Na základě těchto podpůrných dat byl následně sestaven plán marketingové komunikace pro Vybraný Podnik na rok 2025. Rentabilita tohoto plánu byla ověřena kalkulací.
