The importance and role of greenery in historic city centers

The thesis focuses on the urbanistic analysis, public space and greenery situation in Litomyšl’s historic town centre with regard to an improvement of public space quality. Urban greeneary is an integral part of the urban environment of the city. Beside buildings, technical infrastructure and services, urban greenery is an important component of any urban space. It is a part of environment of human and it is a great part of good psychical ease of man. Many features and kinds of public green are known. Trees and shrubs create architectural elements in grassy areas. Planting, maintaining and resorting vegetation must belong amongst priorities of development of any city. The first part work describes the terminology, distribution and development of urban greenery. The second part focuses on the analysis of the area of the historic center of the city Litomyšl with regard to greenery. Current problems and limits due to which the public space loses its quality and future development is no more possible. At the end of the work is the best solution for revitalization og the green area suggested in order to develop public space with preserving the urban concept of the historic town centre. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na urbanistickou analýzu, veřejný prostor a situaci zeleně v historickém centru města Litomyšle s ohledem na vytvoření kvalitního veřejného prostoru. Městská zeleň je nedílnou součástí urbánního prostředí města. Kromě zástavby, technické infrastruktury a služeb, je důležitou složkou každého městského prostoru. Je součástí životního prostředí člověka a má nemalý podíl na psychické pohodě člověka. Je známo mnoho funkcí a druhů veřejné zeleně. Stromy a keře vytváří architektonické prvky v travnatých plochách. Výsadba, údržba i obnova zeleně musí patřit mezi priority rozvoje každého města. První část práce popisuje terminologii, rozdělení a vývoj městské zeleně. Druhá část je zaměřena na analýzu prostoru historického centra města Litomyšl s ohledem na zeleň. Jsou zde definovány současné problémy a limity, kterými veřejný prostor ztrácí na kvalitě a není kvůli nim možný další rozvoj. V závěru práce je navrženo výsledné řešení pro revitalizaci prostoru zeleně tak, aby došlo k rozvoji veřejného prostoru a eliminaci současných limitů a problémů se zachováním urbanistické koncepce historického centra města.

Solution of a barrier-free environment in the urban area

This thesis focuses on accessibility and the analysis of barriers in a specific part of the city. It is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides a detailed explanation of concepts such as barriers, accessibility, disability, and the requirements of Decree No. 398/2009, which establishes general technical standards for ensuring barrier-free use of buildings. It introduces fundamental possibilities for utilizing smart city elements applicable to the addressed type of area. The practical part is dedicated to the barrier-free assessment of the designated area and subsequent proposal for improvement in poorly designed locations. Additionally, the thesis proposes a barrier-free park as a meeting place without limitations, aiming to enhance the attractiveness of the studied area with an emphasis on improving the quality of life in the given territory. The proposal also includes the implementation of smart city technologies. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá bezbariérovostí, analýzou hodnotící přístupnost části města. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí – teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je detailně vysvětleny pojmy jako bariéry, bezbariérovost, heldikep a požadavky Vyhláška č. 398/2009, která stanovuje obecné technické požadavky pro zajištění bezbariérového užívání staveb. Představuje základní možnosti využití smart city prvků které je možné využít v rámci řešeného typu území. Praktická část je pak zaměřena na bezbariérového hodnocení řešené části území a následným návrhem špatně řešených míst. Dále je práce zaměřena na návrh bezbariérového parku jako mista pro pro setkávání všech bez omezení a zvýšení atraktivity řešené lokality s důrazem na kvalitu života v daném území. Součástí návrhu je také implementace smart city technologií.

Prestressed concrete slab of library

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the over-tensioned ceiling slab above the 1st floor of a two-story library building. It is a locally supported slab using prestressing. The analysis of internal forces is carried out by manual calculation using the method of sum moments and using the SCIA Engineer 22.0 calculation software, which uses the finite element method. The design is made according to the ČSN EN group of standards. Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem přepjaté stropní desky nad 1.PP dvoupolažního objektu knihovny. Jedná se o lokálně podepřenou desku s využitím předpětí. Analýza vnitřních sil je provedena ručním výpočtem pomocí metody součtových momentů a pomocí výpočetního software SCIA Engineer 22.0, který využívá metodu konečných prvků. Návrh je proveden dle skupiny norem ČSN EN.

The aim of the master thesis is to elaborate a detailed design of the bridge structure. The structure is designed as a single-frame bridge with 2 spans with a total length of 55,7 m. The calculation of load effects is performed in Scia Engineer 22.0. The structure is examined for service limit state and ultimate limit state according to the valid European standards. MS Excel, IDEA StatiCa 23.0 and Beton FIN EC 2020 are used for the design of the cross-sections. The thesis contains detailed drawings of the designed parts. Úkolem diplomové práce je zpracování podrobného návrhu nosné konstrukce mostu. Konstrukce je navržena jako jednotrámový most o 2 polích celkové délky 55,7 m. Výpočet účinků zatížení je proveden v programu Scia Engineer 22.0. Konstrukce je posouzena na mezní stav použitelnosti a mezní stav únosnosti dle platných evropských norem. Pro posouzení průřezů je použit program MS Excel, IDEA StatiCa 23.0 a FIN EC 2020. Kromě návrhu mostovky je proveden i výpočet spodní stavby. Diplomová práce obsahuje podrobnou výkresovou dokumentaci řešených částí.

The thesis focuses on the financial and economic evaluation of transport construction projects and the analysis of the risks associated with them. The thesis deals with the theoretical concepts of public investment and project life cycle in the context of the public sector. It also includes the definition of the method of evaluation of these projects and their risk rating, including the planning of measures to reduce them. In the practical part, the focus is on a specific transport infrastructure project. Within this part, a financial and economic analysis of a road infrastructure project is developed with the application of the theoretical knowledge. The risk analysis examines specific aspects and variables associated with the project. The thesis attempts to provide a comprehensive view of the risks and value of transport infrastructure projects, which is crucial for decision making. Diplomová práce se soustředí na finanční a ekonomické hodnocení projektů dopravních staveb a na analýzu rizik s nimi spojených. Práce se zabývá teoretickými koncepty veřejných investic a životního cyklu projektu v kontextu veřejného sektoru. Součástí je také vymezení metody hodnocení těchto projektů a jejich rizikového ohodnocení, včetně plánování opatření k jejich redukci. V praktické části je pozornost zaměřena na konkrétní projekt dopravní infrastruktury. V rámci této části je zpracována finanční a ekonomická analýza projektu silniční infrastruktury s aplikací teoretických znalostí. Riziková analýza zkoumá konkrétní aspekty a proměnné spojené s projektem. Práce se tak snaží poskytnout komplexní pohled na rizika a hodnotu projektů v rámci dopravní infrastruktury, což má klíčový význam pro rozhodování o jejich realizaci.

CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROJECT OF PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HOTEL AT VALEČ CASTLE

This master thesis deals with the construction of a new hotel building in the Chateau Valeč complex. This building will serve as a garage, restaurant and accommodation facilities. The building is located on the outskirts of the village of Valeč. The thesis contains a technical report of the object, a situation of the building with broader relations of transport routes, a time and financial plan of the construction, a study, a project of the construction site equipment, a design of the main construction machines and mechanisms, a time schedule, an item budget, a technological regulation, a quality control and testing plan and occupational health and safety. The thesis deals with sprayed polyurethane foam, which serves as a thermal insulator. The thesis also describes the heating system and energy sources for the building. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o výstavbě nového hotelového objektu v komplexu Zámek Váleč. Tato budova bude sloužit jako garáže, restaurační zařízení a ubytovací prostory. Stavba se nachází na okraji obce Valeč. Diplomová práce obsahuje technickou zprávu řešeného objektu, situaci stavby se širšími vztahy dopravních tras, časový a finanční plán stavby, studii, projekt zařízení staveniště, návrh hlavních stavebních strojů a mechanismů, časový plán, položkový rozpočet, technologický předpis, kontrolní a zkušební plán kvality a BOZP. V práci je řešena stříkaná polyuretanová pěna, která slouží jako tepelný izolant. Práce také popisuje vytápění a zdroje energie pro objekt.

The thesis focuses on the design of a dental clinic in Šlapanice. The thesis is structured into three parts.The frst part describes architectural and structural design of the two-storey building. The First oor includes a pharmacy, utility room, reception, waiting room and surgeries. The second oor contains additional surgeries and facilities for sta and patients. The structural system is transverse ceramic masonry. The building has a at biosolar roof and a ventilated façade with greenery on the west side. Foundation structures consists of reinforced concrete strips on drilled piles. The aim of second part is the design of building services, including air handling units with heat recovery, gas boiler heating and photovoltaic panels on the biosolar roof. The cooling is provided by a VRF system. The design of building services is presented in a global scheme. Based on this design and building physics calculations, the results are presented in an energy performance certifcate. In the third part, the issue of vertical green facades is investigated. Involves analyzing green facades' terminology and classifcation. The review is followed by experimental part presenting measurements of temperature and humidity on the KVOP building in Brno. The result of the measurements proves that the temperature on the green facade is up to 45 degrees lower than other elements of the facade during hot summer days. This fact confrms that the use of a green façade helps the surrounding climate as well as the heat load of the indoor environment. Thanks to the attached photo documentation of the green façade, we can follow the progress of plant growth in our geographical environment during the year. Práce se zabývá návrhem zubní kliniky ve Šlapanicích a je strukturována do tří částí. První část popisuje architektonické a konstrukční řešení dvoupodlažní budovy pro zdravotnictví. První podlaží zahrnuje lékárnu, technickou místnost, recepci, čekárnu a ordinace. Druhé podlaží obsahuje další ordinace a zázemí pro personál a pacienty. Konstrukční systém je příčný zděný z keramického zdiva. Budova má plochou biosolární střechu a provětrávanou fasádu s vegetační vrstvou na východní straně. Zakládaní je hlubinné na vrtaných pilotách. Cílem druhé části je návrh technického zařízení budovy, včetně vzduchotechnických jednotek s rekuperací tepla, vytápění plynovým kotlem a fotovoltaických panelů na biosolární střeše. Chlazení zajišťuje systém VRF. Návrh je shrnut grafcky v globálním schématu. Na základě tohoto návrhu a výpočtů stavební fyziky jsou výsledky uvedeny v průkazu energetické náročnosti. Ve třetí části je zkoumána problematika vertikálních vegetačních fasád. Teoretická část zahrnuje jejich rozbor, terminologii a klasifkaci. Na přehled navazuje experimentální část prezentující měření teploty na budově KVOP v Brně. Výsledek měření dokazuje, že teplota na vegetační fasádě je v horkých letních dnech až o 45 stupňů nižší než jiné plochy obvodového pláště. Tato skutečnost potvrzuje, že použití vegetační fasády pozitivně přispívá okolnímu mikroklimatu a snižuje tepelnou zátěž vnitřního prostředí.

Tato diplomová práce podrobně zkoumá vývoj a trendy v oblasti mezd v České republice. Teoretická část se zabývá základními pojmy spojenými s mzdami a detailně popisuje složky mezd a jejich výpočet. Praktická část využívá kvantitativní analýzu pro zhodnocení vývoje minimální a průměrné mzdy v ČR. Porovnává také mzdové ukazatele s ostatními evropskými zeměmi a zkoumá faktory, které ovlivňují výši mezd, jako je zaměstnanost, vzdělání a genderová nerovnost. Výsledky práce nabízejí komplexní pohled na dynamiku mzdové politiky v České republice a její pozici v rámci evropského měřítka. Tato diplomová práce podrobně zkoumá vývoj a trendy v oblasti mezd v České republice. Teoretická část se zabývá základními pojmy spojenými s mzdami a detailně popisuje složky mezd a jejich výpočet. The diploma thesis deals with possible ways of designing hot water preparation and hot water consumption in a school building. The theoretical part summarizes the basic theory related to hot water heating. It describes the methods of hot water preparation used today and the design principles of hot water distribution in the building. In the second part of the thesis, the measurement of hot water consumption on the object of a primary school and the statistical evaluation of the measured data are described. The end of the chapter is devoted to the design of a hot water heating system on the specified object using the data obtained from the measurements. One variant of the design was selected and used in Part 3, where the design of the sanitary and gas installations in the secondary school building is addressed. Finally, the technical design of the building is described in the technical report. Diplomová práce se zabývá možnými způsoby návrhu přípravy teplé vody a spotřebou teplé vody v objektu školy. V teoretické části je shrnuta základní teorie týkající se ohřevu teplé vody. Jsou zde popsány dnes užívané způsoby přípravy teplé vody a zásady návrhu rozvodu teplé vody po objektu. Ve druhé části diplomové práce je popsáno měření spotřeby teplé vody na objektu školy a statistické vyhodnocení naměřených údajů. Konec kapitoly je věnován návrhu systému ohřevu teplé na zadaném objektu s využitím dat získaných z měření. Jedna varianta návrhu byla vybrána a použita do 3. části, kde je řešený projekt zdravotně technických a plynovodních instalací v objektu střední školy. V závěru je technické řešení objektu popsáno v technické zprávě.

Efficiency in the management of public immovable property

The diploma thesis deals with the efficiency of public real estate management. It consists of an assessment and comparison of six selected properties owned by the statutory city of Zlín. The theoretical part of the thesis explains basic concepts, describes the public sector, property and property management departments, methodological procedure for determining the efficiency of public real estate management and financing of public investments. The practical part is devoted to selected real estate properties, their comparison with market rental prices, their categorization as private or non-profit sectors. The thesis concludes with an analysis of the profitability of the selected real estate properties. Diplomová práce se zabývá efektivitou nakládání s veřejným nemovitým majetkem. Jedná se o posouzení a porovnání šesti vybraných nemovitostí ve vlastnictví statutárního města Zlín. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje základní pojmy, popisuje veřejný sektor, majetek a odbory majetkové správy, metodický postup pro zjištění efektivity nakládání s veřejným nemovitým majetkem a financování veřejných investic. Praktická část je věnována vybraným nemovitostem, jejich porovnání s tržními cenami nájmů, jejich zařazení do kategorií soukromých či neziskových sektorů. V závěru práce je provedena analýza rentability vybraných nemovitostí.
