Agricultural literacy - a knowledge probe for primary schools

The aim of this thesis is to determine the level of agricultural literacy among fifth grade primary school students attending schools located in rural areas. The topic of the thesis was motivated by the lack of attention to this issue in the Czech environment. Despite the fact that some topics related to agricultural literacy are included in the Framework Educational Programme (RVP ZV), the very concept of agricultural literacy is relatively new in the Czech Republic. The literature section focuses on the landscape and its functions in relation to agricultural literacy, the definition of the term 'agricultural literacy' itself and the development of its inclusion in the curriculum. At the same time, the thesis analyses the RVP and the occurrence of topics aimed at strengthening agricultural literacy in pupils. Last but not least, the thesis offers an overview of teaching methods and forms that could contribute to the formation of an agriculturally literate society from the beginning of school attendance. The methodological part contains basic information about the respondents participating in the survey and information about the questionnaire design. Furthermore, the process of measurement is written in this part of the thesis. The results and subsequent comparison with research conducted with a different set of respondents is recorded in the final part of the thesis. Diplomová práce má za cíl zjistit úroveň zemědělské gramotnosti u žáků pátých ročníků základní školy docházejících do škol situovaných na vesnici. Téma zvolení diplomové práce bylo motivováno nedostatečnou pozorností této problematiky v českém, ale i světovém prostředí. I přesto, že některá témata související se zemědělskou gramotností jsou obsažena v rámcovém vzdělávacím programu (RVP ZV), samotný pojem zemědělské gramotnosti je v České republice relativně nový. Literární část je zaměřená na krajinu a její funkce v návaznosti na zemědělskou gramotnost, definici samotného pojmu "zemědělská gramotnost" a vývoj jejího zařazení do výuky. Diplomová práce zároveň analyzuje RVP ZV a v něm výskyt témat směřujících k posílení zemědělské gramotnosti u žáků. V neposlední řadě diplomová práce nabízí přehled výukových metod a forem, které by mohli přispět ve formování zemědělsky gramotné společnosti už od začátku školní docházky. Metodická část obsahuje základní informace o respondentech podílejících se na dotazníkovém šetření a informace o tvorbě dotazníku. Dále je v této části diplomové práce zapsán průběh měření. Výsledky a následné porovnání s výzkumem prováděným v jiném okruhu respondentů je zaznamenán v závěrečné části práce.

The presented master's thesis comprises two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical section aims to acquaint readers with the life and oeuvre of František Kupka within the defined period before and after the creation of the painting "Yellow Scale" in 1907. This period witnessed pivotal moments in his work, culminating in the transition from figurative to abstract painting. The objective of the practical creative section, titled "Face in Yellow", is to respond through various artistic techniques to the inspirational aspects of the painting "Yellow Scale" with one's own creation. The text also briefly outlines the utilization of this work in art education classes. At the conclusion of this qualification thesis, readers can explore the visual material referenced throughout the text in the attachment of thesis. Předkládaná diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část si klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře se životem a dílem Františka Kupky ve vymezeném období před a po vzniku malby Žlutá škála z roku 1907. V této době došlo k zásadním okamžikům v jeho práci, které vyústily v přechod z figurativní malby do abstraktní. Cílem praktické tvůrčí části s názvem Tvář ve žluté je reagovat vlastní tvorbou na inspirativní podněty obrazu Žlutá škála formou výtvarných technik. Součástí textu je stručně popsané využití práce v hodinách výtvarné výchovy. Na konci této kvalifikační práce se čtenář může v příloze seznámit s obrazovým materiálem, na který je v textu vždy odkázáno.

Postconcillar directories for catechesis in comparison

The aim of this thesis is to find out whether and how the concept of catechesis / catechization has changed since the Second Vatican Council until today based on the analysis of three catechetical directories. These are specifically the General Catechetical Directory (1971), the General Directory for Catechization (1997) and the Directory for Catechesis (2020). These directories were analyzed using the MAXQDA program, using content analysis and then compared with each other based on seven established categories: the concept of catechesis / catechization, catechist, addressee of catechesis, contents and topics of catechesis, tasks and goals of catechesis, methodological and didactic recommendations and social context. The thesis also briefly discusses catechesis in general the definition of catechesis and its importance for the life of the Church, and the history of catechesis is also briefly outlined the development from the early church, through the Middle Ages and modern times, until today. It was found that the directories differ from each other rather formally but are very similar in terms of content. The newer directory is always based on the older one. The first directory (1971) is based on the request of the Second Vatican Council. In the second directory (1997) the Catechism of the Catholic Church is discussed, and new topics are the inculturation of faith, evangelization, missions and the role of the family in the transmission of faith. The third directory (2020) takes over these aspects and adds new, current topics, which are primarily globalization, digitalization, kerygma and, for example, orientation towards individuals, care for the poor or the importance of dialogue. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda a jak se proměňuje pojetí katecheze / katechizace od Druhého vatikánského koncilu dodnes na základě analýzy třech katechetických direktorií. Jedná se konkrétně o Všeobecné katechetické direktorium (1971), Všeobecné direktorium pro katechizaci (1997) a Direktorium pro katechezi (2020). Tato direktoria byla analyzována pomocí programu MAXQDA, za použití obsahové analýzy a následně vzájemně porovnána na základě sedmi stanovených kategorií: pojem katecheze / katechizace, katecheta, adresát katecheze, obsahy a témata katecheze, úkoly a cíle katecheze, metodicko-didaktická doporučení a společenský kontext. V práci je také stručně pojednáno o katechezi obecně - definice katecheze a její důležitost pro život Církve, a stručně je nastíněna i historie katecheze - vývoj od prvotní církve, přes středověk a novověk, až podnes. Bylo zjištěno, že direktoria se vzájemně liší spíše formálně, ale obsahově jsou si velmi podobná. Novější direktorium vždy vychází z toho staršího. První direktorium (1971) vychází z požadavku Druhého vatikánského koncilu. V druhém direktoriu (1997) je pojednán Katechismus katolické církve a novými tématy jsou inkulturace víry, evangelizace, misie a role rodiny při předávání víry. Třetí direktorium (2020) tyto aspekty přebírá přidává nová, aktuální témata, kterými jsou především globalizace, digitalizace, kérygma a dále například orientace na jednotlivce, starost o chudé nebo důležitost dialogu.

In the work we compare the interpretation of the story presented in the book of Jonah by Saint Jerome with previous and contemporary interpretations. The texts taken into consideration are drawn from Christian authors. The reference to the interpretations, where it was not possible to report only the thought, has been reported with citations that refer to the texts listed in the bibliography. Nel lavoro si portano a confronto l'interpretazione del racconto presentato nel libro di Giona di san Girolamo con le interpretazioni a lui precedenti e contemporanee. I testi presi in considerazione vengono attinti da autori cristiani. Il riferimento alle interpretazioni, ove non é stato possibile riportare solo il pensiero, é stato riportato con le citazioni che si rifanno ai testi elencati nella bibliografia.

The Dialogue of Catholic Theology with Marxism: J. L. Ruiz de la Peňa

The first part of the thesis traces the various forms of dialogue between Roman Catholic Christians and Marxism in the 19th and 20th centuries: the reactions of the magisterium, the practice of individual Christians, and theological reflection. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to description and evaluation of a specific attempt at dialogue with Marxism by a Spanish Roman Catholic theologian, Juan Luis Ruiz de la Pena Solar (1937-1996). Chapter 1 summarizes the main concepts and currents of Marxism and sets their emergence and development in a contemporary context. Special attention is paid to Marxist orthodoxy and humanist Marxism. Chapter 2 traces the multilayered process of Roman Catholicism's contact with Marxism in terms of the development of the attitudes of the magisterium, ecclesiastical practice, and theology. Chapter 3 describes the situation in Spain in the 20th century that formed the immediate context of Ruiz de la Pena's life, provides a basic biography, and describes his theological orientation and style, his importance for Spanish theology, and provides an overview of the critical responses to his work. Chapter 4 summarizes Ruiz de la Pena's writings on Marxism and provides a detailed analysis of the book "Death and Humanist Marxism: A Theological Perspective". The work is complemented by a more detailed excursus into the thought of the humanist Marxist Adam Schaff. První část práce mapuje různé formy dialogu římskokatolického křesťanství s marxismem v 19. a 20. stol.: reakce magisteria, praxi jednotlivých křesťanů a teologickou reflexi. Druhá část práce je věnována popisu a zhodnocení konkrétního pokusu o dialog s marxismem ze strany španělského římskokatolického teologa, Juana Luise Ruize de la Pena Solar (1937-1996). Kapitola 1 shrnuje hlavní koncepty a proudy marxismu a zasazuje jejich vznik a vývoj do dobového kontextu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována marxistické ortodoxii a humanistickému marxismu. Kapitola 2 mapuje mnohovrstevnatý proces kontaktu římského katolicismu s marxismem z hlediska vývoje postojů magisteria, církevní praxe a teologie. Kapitola 3 popisuje situaci ve Španělsku ve 20. stol., která tvořila blízký kontext života Ruize de la Pena, přináší základní biografii a popisuje jeho teologické zaměření a styl, význam pro španělskou teologii a přináší přehled kritických ohlasů na jeho dílo. V kapitole 4 jsou shrnuty texty Ruize de la Pena věnované marxismu a podrobně analyzováno dílo "Smrt a humanistický marxismus: teologický pohled". Práce je doplněna podrobnějším exkurzem do myšlení humanistického marxisty Adama Schaffa.

Playing the recorder at primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of playing the recorder in Music lessons in primary education at elementary schools. It observes the runnings of lessons and pupils' final abilities. A brief description of children's musical development can be found in the theoretical part. It is followed by an introduction to Music education. Important chapters on the recorder, its history, playing techniques and various teaching methods are included. Several publications about teaching the recorder are presented at the end of the theoretical part. Teachers can get inspired by them for their lessons of Music. The thesis contains ten lessons that have been created and then put into practice. Each lesson introduces my own methodology and a worksheet with pictures and sheet music, feedbacks and recommended adjustments or changes. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether it is possible for learners to learn playing the recorder in lessons with a high number of pupils. Therefore, the thesis also shows results of the research. The results are confirmed by the final abilities of pupils after the Music lessons. Diplomová práce se zabývá zařazením hry na zobcovou flétnu do hodin hudební výchovy na prvním stupni základních škol. Sleduje realizaci lekcí a výsledné schopnosti žáků. V teoretické části lze nalézt stručný popis hudebního vývoje dítěte, na který navazuje představení oboru hudební výchovy. Za důležité mohou být považovány kapitoly o zobcové flétně, její historii, o technice hry a možných způsobech výuky. V závěru teoretické části je představeno několik publikací zabývajících se výukou hry na zobcovou flétnu, z nichž může pedagog čerpat inspiraci pro své hodiny. Praktická část práce obsahuje deset vytvořených lekcí, které byly ověřeny v praxi. Součástí každé lekce je vypracovaná metodika, autorský pracovní list obsahující obrázkový materiál a notové záznamy, reflexe a doporučené úpravy či obměny. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda je možné realizovat hru na zobcovou flétnu v rámci vyučovacích hodin i při větším počtu žáků. Z toho důvodu obsahuje práce také výsledky akčního výzkumu, jež zobrazují úroveň osvojení hry u žáků po odučených lekcích.

The diploma thesis deals with the potential use of Escape Games in Teaching Geography at lower secondary school. The main aim of the diploma theses is the creation of three educational activities using the method of Escape Game. The presented thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part based on it. The goal of theoretical part is to define Escape game as a kind of didactical game and its potential uses in teaching, especially in teaching Geography at lower secondary school. This part also gives attention to general information about the Escape Game (such as its history, its kinds etc.) The practical part contains the three created activities using the method of Escape Game and other methods (for example questing, geocaching, QR codes and the method of BYOD), its methodology, realisation and the following reflexion. Diplomová práce se zabývá možností využití únikové hry ve výuce zeměpisu na 2. stupni ZŠ. Hlavním cílem práce je vytvoření tří výukových aktivit využívajících metodu únikové hry. Předkládaná práce je tvořena dvěma částmi, části teoretické a z ní vycházející části praktické. Teoretická část má za úkol vymezit únikovou hru jako formu didaktické hry a možnosti jejího využití ve výuce, zvláště pak ve výuce zeměpisu na 2. stupni ZŠ. Tato část věnuje pozornost také obecným informacím týkajících se únikové hry (jako je historie, druhy únikových her aj.). Praktická část obsahuje tři vytvořené aktivity využívající metodu únikové hry a jiných metod (např. questing, geocaching, QR kódy a metodu BYOD), jejich metodiku, realizaci a následnou reflexi.

The presented theoretical and project diploma thesis was aimed at developing an art project AQUARIUM, during the Art Education lessons in the first level of elementary school. It is structured in two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part defines the therms and processes available literature on the topic. The project part of the thesis consists of eleven proposed art lessons and also deals with the documentation, implementation and reflection of the proposed teaching units. The diploma thesis is followed with pictorial annexes related to the theoretical part, photo documentation of lessons and proposed structured preparation. Diplomová práce teoreticko-projektového charakteru se zabývá zpracováním výtvarného projektu, respektive výtvarné řady s názvem AKVÁRIUM, která byla zrealizována v rámci lekcí výtvarné výchovy na prvním stupni základní školy. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy týkající se tématu a zpracovává je na základě dostupné literatury. Projektová část diplomové práce se skládá z jedenácti navržených výtvarných lekcí. Dále se věnuje dokumentaci, realizaci a reflektování navržených vyučovacích jednotek. Diplomová práce je doplněna o obrazové přílohy vztahující se k teoretické části, fotodokumentaci lekcí a navržené strukturované přípravy.

The aim of the thesis "Contemporary Japanese art as a source of inspiration for art activities at primary school" is to present contemporary Japanese art as an inspirational topic for art education. The work is divided into theoretical and project part. The theoretical part presents the ideological anchor of the work and defines its importance in the didactics of art education. The practical part takes inspiration from selected Japanese artists and presents an art series from which individual lessons can be used to enrich art education at primary school level 1, thus giving pupils an insight into Japanese art and at the same time introducing them to Japanese culture and interesting techniques. Cílem práce "Současné japonské umění jako inspirační zdroj výtvarných činností na 1. stupni ZŠ" je představit současné japonské umění jako inspirativní téma pro výuku výtvarné výchovy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a projektovou část. Teoretická část přináší ideové ukotvení práce a definuje její význam v didaktice výtvarné výchovy. Praktická část se inspiruje vybranými japonskými umělci a přináší výtvarnou řadu, ze které je možné použít jednotlivé lekce pro zpestření výtvarné výchovy na 1. stupni ZŠ, a předat tím žákům vhled do japonského umění a zároveň je seznámit s japonskou kulturou a zajímavými technikami.

Osud hradů a zámků po roce 1989 v okresech Tábor, Český Krumlov a Prachatice

The thesis will deal with the fate of castles and chateaus in three districts of the South Bohemian Region, one inland and two border districts located in the area of the former Sudetenland. In the theoretical part of the thesis, three basic aspects influencing their historical development will be discussed - the role of conservation, the number of visitors and the owners of the castles and chateaux. In the research part I will create a database of still existing castles and palaces in selected districts. This will be followed by a presentation of the five selected objects, consisting of a brief history and a description of the historical development of the castle or chateau in the 20th century, which had a significant impact on its post-war status. The aim of the thesis is to map the fate of castles and chateaux in the three districts under study, as well as to provide a detailed description of the five selected historic buildings. Diplomová práce se bude zabývat osudem hradů a zámků ve třech okresech Jihočeského kraje, jednom vnitrozemském a dvou pohraničních nacházejících se v oblasti bývalých Sudet. V teoretické části práce budou rozebrány tři základní aspekty ovlivňující jejich historický vývoj - úloha památkové péče, návštěvnost památkových objektů a vlastníci hradů a zámků. Ve výzkumné části vytvořím databázi dosud existujících hradů a zámků ve vybraných okresech. Následovat bude představení pěti vybraných objektů, složené ze stručné historie a popisu dějinného vývoje zámku či hradu ve 20. století, který měl značný vliv na jeho polistopadový stav. Cílem práce je zmapování osudu hradů a zámků ve třech zkoumaných okresech a také detailní popis pěti vybraných historických objektů.
