The goal of this work is to map and describe the benefits of the acting with the inner partner(DJ) for those, who practice it on long term bases and it also poses the question whether it is possible to utilize acting with inner partner in the corporate training. The works is based on personal experience of author, who practise the acting with inner partner for 9 years and also works as facilitator of corporate trainings. However her experience is only a starting point. Tato práce si klade za cíl zmapovat a popsat přínosy dialogického jednání s vnitřním partnerem (DJ) pro ty, kteří se jeho zkoušení věnují dlouhodobě, a dále si pokládá otázku, zda je možné dialogické jednání využít ve firemním vzdělávání. práce vychází ze zkušeností autorky , která se dialogickému jednání věnuje 9 let a zároveň pracuje jako lektorka firemního vzdělávání. její osobní zkušenost je však jen východiskem.

Primary focus of the dissertation is comparison of loudspeaker and headphone reproduction and its influence on the mix balance of classical music recordings.
A listening test, which represents an essential part of the thesis, was performed on a test group of sound engineers who prepared mixes of selected recordings using both loudspea-kers and headphones. An analysis of the resulting mixes was performed to find out if any systematic changes could be detected between headphone and loudspeaker mixes. The results disclosed a systematic change in preference of reverberation. Individual approaches of the sound engineers are documented by an extensive graphical section of the thesis. Level of stability of the individual models has been examined using repeated testing on selected participants.
Selected headphone and loudspeaker mixes have been further evaluated by a listening group in a second listening test. Differences between the mixes were judged using both loudspeakers and headphones. Answers of the participants were analysed to see if there was an increased preference of headphone mixes when judged using headphones and vice versa. The results didn't show significant preference changes based on type of reproduction. The selected mixes weren't found to be "more optimal" when listened to on their respective reproduction device, nor could they be identified based on the subjective preference test.
A special part is devoted to evaluation of an internet-based survey featuring a statistical documentation of loudspeaker and headphone usage in todays music recording industry. Special look has been taken at the group of respondents who indicated classical music as primary music genre of their profession. Another theoretical part of the thesis covers the artistic and technical approach of sound engineers to classical music sound image creation, including commonly used technical resources and stylization methods. Disertační práce se zabývá srovnáním poslechu na reproduktory a sluchátka a vlivem jejich rozdílných reprodukčních vlastností na vyvážení mixu nahrávky klasické hudby.
Těžištěm práce je poslechový test, v němž skupina zvukových mistrů smíchala vybrané hudební nahrávky na sluchátka a reproduktory. U zaznamenaných mixů je analyzováno, zda mezi mixy pořízenými na sluchátka a reproduktory dochází k systematické změně v nastavení. V rámci vyhodnocení byl zjištěn systematický rozdíl v preferenci dozvukové složky mezi oběma typy poslechu. Grafické zpracování výsledků podrobně dokumentuje individua-litu přístupů jednotlivých zvukových mistrů, stabilita individuálních modelů je ověřena opa-kovanými testy u vybraných respondentů.
Vybrané páry sluchátkových a reproduktorových mixů byly v následném testu hodnoceny poslechovou skupinou. Hodnocení probíhalo na reproduktory i na sluchátka. U odpovědí res-pondentů je zkoumáno, zda při poslechu na sluchátka byly účastníky častěji preferovány mixy smíchané na sluchátka a při poslechu na reproduktory častěji mixy smíchané na reproduktory. V rámci analýzy hodnocení nebyly zjištěny výraznější preference dle typu poslechu a neprokázalo se tedy, že by mixy byly optimální vždy pro typ poslechu, na němž byly smíchány, a na základě subjektivního hodnocení je šlo od sebe rozlišit.
Disertační práce dále přináší vyhodnocení vlastního internetového průzkumu, který statisticky dokumentuje současnou praxi využívání reproduktorů a sluchátek při míchání hudby. Zvláštní pozornost je v analýze věnována respondentům, kteří uvedli, že se profesně zabývají mícháním klasické hudby. Samostatná teoretická část práce je věnována umělecko-technickému přístupu zvukových mistrů k tvorbě zvukového obrazu klasické hudby, popisu užívaných technických prostředků a stylizačních postupů.

In this dissertation thesis I focus on the overview of some outstanding international clarinet competitions, their repertory, and compositions written to order for the given competition. The itemization of compositions I enriched by the characteristics and analysis of some compositions focused on the difficulty and appearance of contemporary clarinet techniques. Last but not last, I write about the establishment, history, and point of each competition and their contribution to young talented musicians. V této disertační práci se zabývám přehledem některých významných mezinárodních klarinetových soutěží, jejich repertoárem a skladbami, psanými na objednávku přímo pro dané soutěže. Výčet skladeb jsem obohatila charakteristikami a rozbory některých děl se zaměřením na náročnost a výskyt soudobých technik. V neposlední řadě píši o vzniku, historii a významu jednotlivých soutěží a jejich přínosu pro mladé talentované hudebníky.

The contencts of this dissertation is to map and describe the phenomenon of giant puppets. Its aim is to find solutions for the future direction of modern puppetry. I will try to contextualize the historical developlment of this genre from the beginning to the present and consider contemporery art as the starting point of reflection on the future puppetry. I will focus on various technology solutions giant puppets and on the issue of the dramaturgy of giant puppets in a public space and atristic conception of this discipline. In connection with this, I will be interested in the relationship of creativity and technology and how both approaches affect final work in art Obsahem této disertační práce je zmapování a popis fenoménu obřích loutek. Jejím cílem je hledání východisek pro další směřování moderníholoutkářství. Historický vývoj tohoto žánru od počátku do současnosti sepokusím zasadit do kontextu současného umění jakožto výchozího boduúvah o budoucnosti loutkářství. Vedle problematiky dramaturgie divadlaobřích loutek ve veřejném prostoru a uměleckého pojetí této disciplíny sezaměřím na rozličná technologická řešení obřích loutek. V souvislosti s tímmne bude zajímat vzájemný vztah kreativity a technologie a způsob, jakýmoba přístupy ovlivňují výsledné umělecké dílo. Nebudou mne zajímat pouzetradiční postupy různých světových kultur, ale také možnosti využití moderních materiálů, které vedle inovativních technických řešení přinášejí i nová témata dotýkající se hlubších společenských otázek. Nedílnou součástí práce je reflexe zkušeností nabytých při realizaci projektu obřích loutek EchtStreet Puppets a workshopů realizovaných od roku 2004 v Praze, naTaiwanu, ve Velké Británii a v Německu.

Dance in the Contemporary Japanese Society

In my dissertation I have tried to describe the position and perception of dance in contemporary Japanese society from the perspective of modern methods of dance research. I focused on the transformation of the status of dance in society during the 20th century and the beginning of the new millennium, especially in terms of professional dance, its financial and media support, education, occupation and social status of dance artists in various dance genres. Context is completed with a reflection on the current problems of Japanese society that, to a large extent, affect the nation´s approach to dance, as well as a sociological survey on the perception of dance from the perspective of the young generation. It also includes an insight into the linguistic labelling of dance in contemporary Japanese. Ve své disertační práci jsem se pokusila přiblížit postavení a vnímání tance v současné japonské společnosti z pohledu moderních metod tanečního výzkumu. Zaměřila jsem se na proměny postavení tance ve společnosti v průběhu 20. století a na počátku nového tisíciletí, především z hlediska profesionálního tanečního umění, jeho finanční i mediální podpory, vzdělání, povolání a společenské postavení tanečního umělce v oblasti různých tanečních žánrů. Kontext doplňuje zamyšlení nad současnými problémy japonské společnosti, které přístup národa k tanci do značné míry ovlivňují a sociologický průzkum ohledně vnímání tance z pohledu mladé generace, nechybí ani vhled do jazykového označování tance v současné japonštině.

The scope of the ?Feldenkrais method, breath and voice? dissertation thesis is the process of examining and recording circumstances, under which it is possible to interactively combine elements of movement, breathing and voice in a new approach that is primarily intended for group learning. In introduction, the author describes the theoretical and practical basis and presents main inspiration sources: learning by movement according to Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais and voice upbringing by Libuše Válková. The first part of the dissertation examines all of the orchestrated versions of Dvořák's Cello Concerto in A major.The analysis is based on graphs, which show the cuts in every version. The work of Günter Raphael and Jarmil Burghauser's version are looked at in close detail. The second part of the dissertation analyses tempo changes in all of the Czech recordings of the concerto. Original graphs show the differences between tempo marks in the autograph version and in recordings. První část práce popisuje všechny dostupné verze Dvořákova Koncertu A dur v provedení s orchestrem. Základem analýzy jsou grafy, které mapují provedené střihy. Šířeji je popsáno dílo Güntera Raphaela a verze Jarmila Burghausera. Druhá část práce analyzuje tempový průběh všech českých nahrávek Dvořákova Koncertu h moll. Vypracované grafy ukazují rozdíly mezi autografním zápisem a jednotlivými interpretacemi.

The thesis aims to address issues concerning technical piano playing by university students.
The topic is approached through a discussion of the overall aesthetics of exercise and a survey of types of piano touch, all using specific analysis of etudes by Russian composers. Etudes by Glazunov, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Stravinsky and are the focus of the analysis.
The exercise methods discussed in the text lay much better foundations for technical piano playing, highlight the importance of consciousness as the key factor in the process, and make the piano player examine the musical text with much more rigour. The core of the thesis is not only the detailed discussion of Russian etudes that are only rarely played in the Czech Republic but also a reflection on the piano exercise itself that brings the player towards efficient and meaningful work with the instrument. Cílem této práce je odpovědět na otázky týkající se technické hry na klavír u vysokoškolských studentů.
Řeší je pomocí celkové estetiky cvičení, vysvětlení druhů úhozu a vše spojuje na konkrétním rozboru etud ruských autorů. Z těchto etud jsou v práci obsaženy etudy Glazunova, Prokofjeva, Rachmaninova, Skrjabina a Stravinského.
Popsaná metoda cvičení poskytuje daleko lepší zázemí pro technickou hru, odhaluje důležitost vědomí, jako hlavního činitele tohoto procesu a nutí klavíristu zkoumat notový text daleko důsledněji. Přínosem této práce je nejen její konkrétní zpracování ruských etud, u nás někdy tak málo hraných, ale i zamyšlení se nad vlastním cvičením u klavíru. Vede interpreta k efektivní a smysluplné práci u nástroje.

The Narrativity Evolution of Selected Czech Films of the Last Decade.

This doctoral thesis analyses several narrative categories on the sample of Czech fiction films of the last decade awarded by the Czech film academy for best film and best direction, on the sample of the most successful film in domestic distribution and on other three chosen films. It applies also the view on myth studies. The founded results are then compared with the classical Hollywood model. Na vzorku filmů oceněných Českou filmovou akademií za nejlepší film a nejlepší režii, na vzorku distribučně nejúspěšnějších a na třech vybraných filmech analyzuje práce vývoj některých aspektů narativity a anylýzy mýtu. Zjištěné výsledky pak porovnává s klasickým hollywoodským modelem.
