Wind resource assessment for selected sites in the territory of the Czech Republic – first series

This set of studies analyses the wind conditions and expected wind power production at selected sites in the Czech Republic. At first, the calculation of wind conditions by VAS/WAsP 1, VAS/WAsP 2 and PIAP models is performed. Based on the comparison and analysis of model results, the generalized wind climate pertaining to the assessed site is estimated. The final results are calculated by WAsP model using this generalized wind climate. The expected wind power production of proposed wind turbine or wind farm is calculated as well as the map of simulated average wind speed and potential wind turbine production over the surrounding area. The uncertainty analysis is performed as well. This set consists of 7 partial reports. Jedná se o souhrn zpráv, analyzujících větrné podmínky a předpokládanou výrobu energie na vybraných lokalitách v České republice. Pro studované lokality byl proveden výpočet modely VAS/WAsP 1, VAS/WAsP 2 a PIAP. Jejich výsledky jsou navzájem porovnány a jsou analyzovány předpokládané chyby jednotlivých modelů. Na základě toho je sestaveno předpokládané zobecněné větrné klima v lokalitě, které slouží pro provedení finálních výpočtů modelem WAsP. Výsledkem je předpokládaná výroba energie větrnou elektrárnou či farmou větrných elektráren a mapa simulovaného prostorového rozložení průměrných rychlostí větru a výroby energie v okolí posuzované lokality. Součástí studie je též analýza nejistot dosažených výsledků. Souhrn sestává ze 7 dílčích zpráv. Počet stran: 17, 18, 17, 17, 17, 17, 16 + přílohy.

Wind resource assessment for large wind farm in the territory of Poland

The expected energy production of proposed wind farm was calculated on the basis of local wind mast measurements. The study includes detailed analysis of measured wind data, correction of discovered inaccuracies and correction for long-term wind conditions (measure-correlate-predict analysis). The final calculation of wind energy production was performed by WAsP model. The uncertainty analysis was performed as well. Na základě stožárového měření větru byla analyzována předpokládaná výroba energie větrnou farmou. Studie zahrnuje podrobné vyhodnocení stožárového měření větru včetně korekce zjištěných chyb a opravy větrných podmínek na dlouhodobý normál. Finální výpočet energie byl proveden modelem WAsP. Součástí studie je též analýza nejistot dosažených výsledků.

The aim of this study was to calculate the relative deposition of dust in the mine Bílina during the year 2012. The relative deposition was expressed in percentage of a total mass of dust that was created as a result of mining activities . These calculations were made for two sizes of dust (PM10 , PM2.5) and for different types of resources excavators, loaders, etc.). The annual average of the relative deposition was obtained by statistical processing of the calculated deposition for various meteorological scenarios. The scenarios were determined using the local meteorological measurements. Cílem této studie je výpočet průměrných ročních relativních depozic polétavého prachu na území Dolu Bílina během roku 2012. Relativní depozice jsou vyjádřeny v procentech celkové hmoty prachu, který byl vytvořen v důsledku těžební činnosti. Tyto výpočty byly provedeny pro dvě velikosti prachových částic (PM10, PM2.5) a pro různé typy zdrojů (rypadla, zakladače apod.). Výpočet průměrných ročních relativních depozic byl založen na statistickém zpracování vypočtených depozic pro konkrétní proudové scénáře. Pomocí spočtených proudových scénářů a měření na referenční meteorologické stanici byla vždy nejprve vygenerována virtuální časová řada pro tu veličinu, která byla statisticky zpracovávána. Virtuální časová řada byla zpracována standardními statistickými metodami.

Quantitative estimation of releases of airborne dust from the mine Bílina (Stage 1)

The report describes applied methods and results obtained in modelling the dust spread inside the mine Bílina and its surroundings . We developed a model calculating air flow in the mine and its surrounding area with a horizontal resolution of 25 m and a transfer model calculating the concentration of dust PM10 and PM2.5 . Both models were validated using measured data. Zpráva popisuje postup prací a získané výsledky při modelování šíření prachu uvnitř dolu Bílina a v jeho blízkém okolí. Byl vyvinut model pro výpočet proudění v dole a okolí s vysokým rozlišením (25 m) a model přenosu prachu a výpočtu koncentrací PM10 a PM2.5. Oba modely byly ověřeny na konkrétních datech.
