Detection of weak signals in noise

In this report, a bound on amplitude of impuls signal detection in stationary background noise is computed.\nIt was evaluated for an experiment with acoustic emission from mechanically strained sample. Stanovili jsme hranice pro detekovatelnost impulzního rušení v jinak stacionárním signálu a spočetli je prakticky pro měření akustické emise v experimentu s namáháním vzorku.

Analysis of corrosion damage of steem pipe by acoustic emission: results for a pipe in EBO

We studied acoustics emission of steem pipes from measurements from EBO. We counted frequency of sudden increases of the acoustics emission, which can be used as indicator of corosion demage of the pipes. V práci je studována akustická emise na potrubí s proudící párou, měřená v elektrárně Jaslovské Bohunice. V signálu vyhledáváme výrony akustické emise která amplitudově vyčnívají nad okolním signálem, a jejich relativní frekvence výskytu je považována za indikátor poškození potrubí.

Module for data transmission of vehicle signals to standard PS2

The subject of the research task is aimed to proposal and development module for transmission vehicles signals (smart field of buttons, multifunction steering wheel Barrelkeys, multifunction control of buttons) to standard PS2. The whole proposal includes development functional sample of decoder. Technical solution comprises research tasks: interface for matrix micro switch, interface for control elements of multifunction steering wheel "Barelkeys" by means of data transmission Telenostra and integration keyboard control unit. Předmětem výzkumné úlohy je HW návrh a vytvoření modulu umožňujícího převod vozidlových signálů (programovatelné pole tlačítek, multifunkční volant Barrelkeys, multifunkční ovládací tlačítka) na standard PS2. Jedná se o ucelený návrh dekodéru včetně vytvoření funkčního vzorku. Technické řešení zahrnuje úlohy: maticové připojení mikrospínačů, připojení ovládacích prvků multifunkčního volantu „Barrelkeys“ pomocí datového přenosu Telenostra, integrace řídící jednotky klávesnicových prvků.

Unit for signal processing from incremental sensor

Research report is aimed on proposal and implementation the HMI unit for signal processing of incremental sensor and evaluation its position. Report subject includes alternative solutions, description of communication protocol, description of interface, wiring diagram and firmware including flow diagrams. Předmětem výzkumné zprávy je návrh a realizace modulu pro zpracování signálu inkrementálního snímače a vyhodnocování jeho polohy. Obsahem zprávy je návrh variantních řešení, popis komunikačního protokolu, popis rozhraní, schéma zapojení a firmware včetně vývojových diagramů.

Dynamic decision making based on iterations-spread-in-time strategy

This article describes a formal approach to decision making optimization in commodity futures markets. Our aim was to design optimal decision strategy generating decision at a given time. It contains theoretical description of estimation using Bayesian learning and approximate methods of dynamic programming. Finally, the original decision strategy using approximate methods of dynamic programming was designed. This strategy was tested by a series of experiments indicating our ability to construct pro table trading machine. Tato práce se zabývá využitím přibližných metod dynamického rozhodování na problém obchodování s futures kontrakty. Cílem byl navrhnout optimální rozhodovací strategii, tj. soubor rozhodovacích pravidel generující optimální rozhodnutí v každém čase t.Teoreticky odvozený algoritmus je pak následně experimentálně vyzkoušen, vyhodnocen a srovnáván s jinými návrženými algoritmy na reálných ekonomických datech. Na testovaných datech vykazoval nově navržený algoritmus lepší výsledky, než na který bylo navazováno.

This work deals with dynamic decision making via approximate dynamic programming in application to the futures trading. This work describes the theoretical description of dynamic decision making and approximate dynamic programming, you can also nd here the principles of Bayesian estimation, which is necessary for solving our task.We designed and described one of possible trading strategy { receding horizont strategy combined with anticipative strategy, the predictions of prices, which are necessary for using of this strategy, are made by certainty equivalence strategy and by Monte Carlo method. The designed strategy was tested on real data and unfortunately this strategy doesn t provide a prot. Tato práce se zabývá dynamickým rozhodováním za pomocí přibližného dynamického programování v aplikaci na obchodování s futures kontrakty. Obsahuje teoretický úvod do problematiky dynamického rozhodování a přibližného dynamického programování, stejnì tak popisuje principy bayesovského odhadování, které potřebujeme pro řešení našeho úkolu. Je zde navržena a popsána jedna z možných obchodovních strategií { metoda klouzavého horizontu s využitím anticipativní strategie, přičemž predikce cen potřebná pro použití této strategie je určována pomocí metody certainty equivalence a pomocí metody Monte Carlo. Tato strategie byla otestována na reálných datech a bohužel nedosahuje ziskových hodnot.
