The aim of the preservation procedure is to improve the indoor air quality in libraries and archives in order to maximally slowed the degradation process of library and archival materials. After identification the degradation risks and determination the indoor air quality will be suggested means for improvement of the indoor air quality, which will limit the degradation of stored library and archive materials. Cílem památkového postupu je zlepšit kvalitu vnitřního ovzduší knihoven a archivů tak, aby se co nejvíce zpomalila degradace knihovních a archivních materiálů. Na základě stanovení rizik poškození knihovních a archivních materiálů a stanovení kvality vnitřního ovzduší se navrhnou opatření pro takovou změnu kvality vnitřního ovzduší, při které bude omezena degradace uložených knihovních a archivních materiálů.

The aim of the methodology was development of evaluation methods for indoor air quality in archives and libraries, targeted at reduction of damages on library and archival collections caused by adverse effects of environment. For this reason a set of procedures and tools of advanced monitoring of the indoor air quality was developed. The purpose of this methodology was to evaluate load by dust particles, describe the relationship between the indoor and outdoor environments, and identify indoor sources of pollution. Cílem této práce bylo vytvoření metodiky vedoucí k zhodnocení kvality vnitřního ovzduší v knihovnách a archivech za účelem snížení škod na knihovních a archivních fondech způsobených nepříznivými vlivy prostředí. Za tímto cílem byl vyvinut soubor postupů a\nnástrojů pokročilého monitoringu kvality vnitřního ovzduší. Účelem této metodiky bylo zhodnotit zatížení prostředí prachovými částicemi, dále pak určit vztah mezi vnitřním a vnějším prostředím a určit vnitřní zdroje znečištění.\n

Methodology of Selection of Means for Mechanical Cleaning of Dust Particles from Paper Surface

The aim of this work was to identify methods of mechanical cleaning of dust particles from the paper surface, which are suitable for use in the restoration practice. For this purpose 15 methods of mechanical cleaning were tested. The basic requirement was the applicability of the methodology for the most restorers. Therefore the methodology included only approaches which do not require any special equipment. The results showed that the type of paper has no effect to cleaning results and the main criterion for selection of means of treatment is the extent of soiling. Cílem této práce bylo identifikovat metody mechanického čištění prachových částic z povrchu papíru, které jsou vhodné pro použití v restaurátorské praxi. Za tímto účelem bylo detailně testováno 15 způsobů mechanického čištění. Základním požadavkem byla využitelnost metodiky pro většinu restaurátorských pracovišť. Z tohoto důvodu byly zahrnuty pouze přístupy, které jsou snadno dostupné a nevyžadují speciální přístrojové vybavení. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že druh papírové podložky nemá zásadní vliv na výsledek čištění a hlavním kritériem pro volbu prostředku k ošetření se ukázal rozsah zašpinění.

The aim of the certified methodology is to provide a complete overview about possible ways of isolation of isolate biologically active extracts from rose-scented geranium and their utilization in the field of plant pesticides. Cílem uplatněné certifikované metodiky je poskytnout uživateli metodiky ucelený přehled informací o možnostech získávání biologicky aktivních výtažků z pelargonie vonné a jejich využití v oblasti rostlinných pesticidů.

The proposed technology is a unique method evaluating decrease of risk element release into environment while the contaminated biomass is transported, stored and pre-treated. This biomass was produced on phytoextraction plantations for further energetic purposes. Navržená technologie je unikátní metodou hodnotící snížení uvolňování rizikových prvků do prostředí při úpravě, přepravě a skladování dřevní kontaminované biomasy, produkované na fytoextrakčních plantážích pro následné energetické využití.
