2018 - English Thirteen studies in English and German bring new insights into a number of masterpieces of Bohemian book painting, which have been examined so far mainly from a stylistic point of view. The book also acquaints the readers with unknown or little-known manuscripts. The publication illustrates how the turbulent end of the 14th century and the socio-political changes of the Hussite period influenced the form of manuscript production. The researches, inter alia, focus on the relationship between text and image, the function of the depiction, the mass productin of manuscripts, and the question of what Hussite iconography is. 2018 - German This publication, prepared by the Rudolpine Center represents both a sequel to the 2009 volume München–Prag um 1600, and at the same time the continuation of a project focused on charting the contacts among the imperial court of Rudolf II and other courts in Central Europe. The volume brings together the contributions delivered at the international conference organized by the Institute of Art History ASCR jointly with Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden. At the outset there were sketched the rich contacts between Prague and Dresden. The following papers brought new information concerning the visual arts, science and culture in both capitals. Diese Publikation des Zentrums zur Erforschung der Kunst und Kultur der Zeit Rudolfs II. schließt an den Sammelband von 2009 an und ist eine Fortsetzung des Projektes, das sich auf die Kartierung der Kontakte zwischen dem Kaiserhof Rudolfs II. und den Herrscherhöfen Mitteleuropas konzentriert. Auch diesmal dokumentiert der Band die Ergebnisse der internationalen Konferenzen, die in Zusammenarbeit mit den Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen Dresden vom 17. bis 20. 3. 2015 in Dresden und Prag stattfanden. In der Einführung des Bandes werden die reichen Verbindungen zwischen Prag und Dresden angesprochen. 2017 - Czech The book collects the more recent findings about the Prague Slavonic monastery (Emmaus monastery) which was founded by Charles IV and about the literary production of the Charles IV era. The contributions were written by slavists, bohemists, historians of literature and historians of art mainly the specialists from Czech Academy of Sciences. The texts base on the papers from workshop of the same name. Kniha shrnuje nejnovější poznatky o fundaci Karla IV. – klášteru Na Slovanech (Emauzy) a literární, především českojazyčné produkci doby Karla IV. Svými texty přispěli do knihy slavisté, muzikologové, bohemisté, literární vědci a historici dějin umění zejména z řad odborníků Akademie věd ČR. Texty vycházejí z příspěvků ze stejnojmenné konference z října roku 2016.
