Methodology for breast ultrasound examination

2017 - Czech The aim of the proposed project is the development of a new ultrasonic equipment (US), allowing early detection of breast cancer and reduce the need to use the ionizing radiation during examinations. The aim is to eliminate the disadvantages of current ultrasonic systems in the diagnosis of breast cancer, which hinders its use. The target parameters include prospecting and automated description using parameters (size, texture), description of the situation, which is able to testify about the disease, combining individual images (registration) leading to the creation of 3D display - thus ensuring reproducibility UZ shaping and security testing the entire organ. At the same time the newly developed ultrasonic probe allows better capture the characteristics of bearings including microcalcifications. Software solution enables to follow the coverage of the breast examination. The areas which were omitted are detected and highlighted. Cílem projektu je vývoj nového ultrazvukového diagnostického zařízení (UZ), které umožní časný záchyt karcinomu prsu a sníží nutnost požívat ionizující záření při vyšetření. Cílem je odstranit nevýhody současných ultrazvukových diagnostických přístrojů v diagnostice rakoviny prsu, které brání v jeho využití. Mezi cílové parametry patří vyhledávání ložisek a jejich automatizovaný popis pomocí parametrů (rozměry, textura), tedy popis situace, který je schopen vypovídat o nemoci, skládání jednotlivých obrazů (registrace) vedoucí k vytvoření 3D zobrazení - a tím zaručit reprodukovatelnost UZ obrazení a jistotu vyšetření celého orgánu. Zároveň nově vyvinuté ultrazvukové sondy umožní lepší záchyt charakteristických ložisek včetně mikrokalcifikací. Softwarové řešení umožnuje sledovat pohyb sondy a vyhodnocovat kvalitu pokrytí vyšetřšní prsu. An assessment of radiological consequences of accidental radioactive releases from repositories of spent nuclear fuel

2017 - Czech The investigation of potential accidental releases o radionuclides from spent fuel repositories is resumed. Short-term life of radionuclides are assumed to be subsided and decisive role in radiological impact assessment have lradionuclides with long half-lives. Further decrease of radioactivity is then very slow. Comparable analysis of the results acquired by HARP code developed in ÚTIA with results of European code COSYMA is presented. Zkoumána oblast postulovaných nehod ve skladech (bazénech a pak úložištích) vyhořelého paliva. Zde se předpokládá, že krátkodobé nebezpečné nuklidy se již rozpadly na zanedbatelné úrovně a počáteční inventář vyhořelého paliva klesá s časem uskladnění (řádově roky). Na významu nabývají nuklidy s dlouhým poločasem rozpadu. Uvedena srovnávací analýza výsledků kódu HARP s evropským kódem COSYMA. Dynamic location referencing for geographic databases

2017 - Czech The paper deals with the dynamic location referencing in intelligent transport systems. This method allows representing the same spatial objects in different maps in different applications and on different software/hardware platforms. The dynamically referenced location is formed as a set of information elements, which contain the points and their corresponding attributes. For each point, one or more attributes can be connected to it at the same time. By standardising dynamic location referencing is engaged in ISO 17572-3 Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) - Marking positions for geographic databases - Part 3: Dynamic location referencing (dynamic profile). The paper provides updated information about draft ISO 17572-3. Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou dynamického označování poloh v inteligentních dopravních systémech. Tato metoda umožňuje reprezentovat stejné geoprvky v různých mapách, v různých aplikacích a na odlišných SW/HW platformách. Dynamicky označená poloha je vytvořena jako soubor informačních prvků, které obsahují body a jim příslušející atributy. Ke každému bodu přitom může být připojen jeden nebo i více atributů. Standardizací dynamického označování poloh se zabývá norma ISO 17572-3 Inteligentní dopravní systémy (ITS) - Označení poloh pro geografické databáze – část 3: Dynamické označování poloh (dynamický profil). Příspěvek rozvádí a aktualizuje informace poskytnuté v extraktu návrhu technické normy ISO.17572-3. It also contains some new results of the author in the field of regression models for the hazard rate. Methods are illustrated on examples. Práce předkládá jednak přehled metod používaných v statistické analýze přežití s ohledem na aplikaci v analýze spolehlivosti, jednak výsledky autora v oblasti analýzy regrese v modelech pro intenzitu poruch. 2016 - Czech On board measuring the surface quality carriage ways aspects is able to expressively contribute to increasing road safety. This paper introduce system concept based on evaluation friction coefficient and road surface bumps with using available vehicle sensing elements. The concept includes two separate parts: deterministic mock-up vehicle movement and stochastic analyses of correlation model varieties and surface features on basis data recorded on testing ground. On board měření povrchových vlastností vozovky pozemní komunikace může výrazně přispět ke zvýšení bezpečnosti silničního provozu. Tento příspěvek popisuje koncept systému vyhodnocujícího součinitel tření a povrchové nerovnosti vozovky na základě dat zaznamenávaných běžnými vozidlovými senzory. Koncept obsahuje dvě na sobě nezávislé části: deterministický model pohybu vozidla a stochastickou analýzu korelací odchylek modelu a povrchových koeficientů na základě dat z testovacích jízd.
