Development of a layer of selected ecosystem service provision in the area of interest of the cities of Liberec and Děčín.

2019 - Czech Most ecosystem services assessment tools attempt to quantify services on a landscape scale using simplified biophysical models or ecological functions. The most commonly used ecosystem classifications are land use / land cover or habitat, which can be combined with other information such as soil type or vegetation biomass. The aim of the study was to quantify selected ecosystem functions in the cities of Liberec and Děčín. For the evaluation of habitat biodiversity in 2003, a complete list of habitat types was prepared for the Czech Republic, which includes habitats processed in preparation of data for the creation of a national design of Natura 2000 sites of European importance (Habitat Catalog of the Czech Republic 2001 and 2010) and detailed description of more antropgenic influenced habitat (Sejak et al., 2003, Sejak et al., 2017). For 21 functional groups of habitat types, their production function, including oxygen production and the ability to minimize temperature fluctuations (to reduce the amount of radiated heat) was estimated to provide support and regulatory services to ecosystems (Seják et al. 2010). According to the assignment of the study, Elaboration of the layer of provision of selected ecosystem functions and services in the area of ​​interest of the cities of Liberec and Děčín, biodiversity values ​​determined according to BVM method, annual biomass, oxygen and evapotranspiration production for the entire cadastral territory of Liberec Kunratická and dam Harcov and for the cadastral area of ​​Děčín. Většina nástrojů k hodnocení ekosystémových služeb se snaží kvantifikovat služby v krajinném měřítku za použití zjednodušených biofyzikálních modelů nebo ekologických funkcí. Nejčastěji používané klasifikace ekosystémů jsou land use/land cover nebo habitat, jež lze kombinovat s dalšími informacemi, jako je půdní typ nebo biomasa vegetace. Cílem studie bylo kvantifikovat vybrané ekosystémové funkce na území měst Liberce a Děčína. Pro hodnocení biodiverzity biotopů byl již v roce 2003 pro ČR připraven úplný seznam typů biotopů, který zahrnuje biotopy zpracované v rámci příprav podkladů pro vytvoření národního návrhu evropsky významných lokalit soustavy NATURA 2000 (Katalog biotopů ČR 2001 a 2010) a podrobnější členění nepřírodních biotopů (Seják et al., 2003, Seják et al., 2017). Pro 21 funkčních skupin typů biotopů byla odhadnuta jejich produkční funkce, včetně produkce kyslíku a schopnost minimalizovat výkyvy teploty (snižovat množství vyzařovaného tepla) a poskytovat tak podpůrné a regulační služby ekosystémů (Seják a kol. 2010). Podle zadání studie, Vypracování vrstvy poskytování vybraných ekosystémových funkcí a služeb v zájmovém území měst Liberec a Děčín, jsou v příloze tabulárně i mapově zpracovány hodnoty biodiverzity stanovené podle metody BVM, roční produkce biomasy, kyslíku a evapotranspirace pro celé katastrální území Liberce, pro modelové území Kunratická a přehrada Harcov a pro katastrální území Děčína.\n Keywords: ecosystem functions; maps; regulation services Available at various institutes of the ASCR Development of a layer of selected ecosystem service provision in the area of interest of the cities of Liberec and Děčín.

2018 - Czech Data Acquisition by FLIS (Flying Laboratory of Imaging Systems of Global change research institut CAS) over the localities of the villages of Krasíkovice and Kochánky was carried out on May 27. and 29., 2018. The reason for the acquisition of hyperspectral and LiDAR data was the verification of critical source sites in experimental catchments area IV. order or in parts with high concentrations of nitrates in water (including drainage). Akvizice dat Leteckou hyperspektrální laboratoří nad lokalitami v okolí obcí Krasíkovice a Kochánky proběhla 27. a 29. května 2018. Důvodem pořízení hyperspektrálních a LiDARových dat bylo ověření kritických zdrojových lokalit na experimentálních povodích IV. řádu nebo jejich částech s vysokými koncentracemi dusičnanů ve vodách (vč. drenáží). Research on inflence of SO2 and NOx on spruce growth

2018 - Czech Radial growth of Norway spruce (Picea abies) in Krušné and Jizerské Mts.responded qiuckly on the decline of SO2 and NOx emissions and S deposition. At the end of 1990´s it was equal to growh measured before the period of high emissions. The best correlation was founded with ambient SO2 concentrations, then with S atmosperic deposion and less important correlation was found with soil chemistry as it is correlated with deposition levels. At present there is no evidence of influence of SO2 and NOX on decline of radial growht. Observed decline in last decade is most probably attributed to climatic conditions. Smrk ztepilý po poklesu emisí SO2 a NOX velmi rychle reagoval a radiální přírůsty stromů v postiených oblastech Krušných a Jizerských hor se dostaly na předemisní úroveň již koncem 90.let 20. století. Vzrůst nejlépe koreloval s poklesem koncentrací SO2 v ovzduší a s poklesem atmosférické depozice síry. Regenerace půd byla identifikována jako méně výrazný činitel, zejména proto, že je silně korelována s poklesem depozice. Na pokles radiálního růstu tedy emise SO2 a NOX přestaly mít vliv na přelomu tisíciletí. Současný pokles přírůstů není dám emisemi SO2 a NOX ale spíše klimatickými vlivy. 2018 - Czech This report presents outputs from analyses supported by City Council of Prague. The report summarizes the results from the simulation of temperature extremes (heat waves) and the evaluation of the potential solutions for the pilot area of Prague 6. The second part introduces survey, aimed at investigating public attitudes in the field of climate change impacts and adaptation and elaboration of the basis for realization of the crowd-source mapping and elaboration of the methodology for participation and communication with the public, urban areas and the wider public. This part presents the results of the public survey processed on a representative sample of 550 inhabitants of the city of Prague. In addition, a proposal for setting up monitoring for the selection and evaluation of pilot adaptation projects is presented, which is focused on the monitoring and evaluation of ongoing and new projects implemented in the framework of the Prague Adaptation Strategy. \n \n Tato zpráva představuje výstupy z veřejné zakázky realizované s podporou Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy. Zpráva shrnuje výstupy ze simulace teplotních extrémů (vln horka) a vyhodnocení variantních řešení pro pilotní oblast Praha 6. Druhá část je zaměřená na šetření postojů veřejnosti v oblasti problematiky změny klimatu a adaptací a zpracování podkladů pro realizaci pocitové mapy a vypracování metodiky participace a komunikace s odbornou veřejností, městskými částmi a širší veřejností. Tato část představuje výstupy z šetření postojů veřejnosti zpracovaném na reprezentativním vzorku 550 obyvatel hl. m. Prahy. Dále je představen návrh pro nastavení monitoringu pro výběr a vyhodnocení pilotních projektů, který je zaměřen na monitoring a hodnocení stávajících a nových projektů do budoucna realizovaných v rámci Strategii adaptace hl. m. Prahy na změnu klimatu.
