The processual and systemic approach to the study of integration of personality

2000 - Czech The article highlights the application of processual and systemicanalysis to the study of personality. Both these methods make itpossible to classify the personality traits into three groups:(1) processual characteristics, i.e. the properties of processes andtheir interactions; (2) characteristics of various personalitysubsystems and (3) systemic characteristics of the personality.The complementarity of both these analyses is demonstrated on theattitude to the study of personality integration, which is one ofthe most important systemic characteristics of personality. Příspěvek poukazuje na uplatnění procesuální a systémové analýzyve studiu osobnosti. Oba tyto postupy umožňují klasifikovat vlastnostiosobnosti do tří skupin: (1) procesuální vlastnosti, a to vlastnostiprocesů a jejich interakcí; (2) vlastnosti jednotlivých subsystémůosobnosti a (3) systémové vlastnosti osobnosti. Komplementarita oboutěchto analýz je demonstrována na přístupu ke studiu integraceosobnosti, která je jednou z nejdůležitějších systémových vlastnostíosobnosti. Qualitative research in human sciences at the threshold of the third millenium

2000 - Czech The collection of papers is focused on qualitative approach to the research in human sciences, mostly in psychology. Theoretical and historical framework of qualitative research is articulated. Tension between qualitative and quantitative perspective in research is reformulated - continuum of cooperation is more useful version of research in human sciences. Several particular qualitative studies concerning family, drug-abuse, and process of therapy, etc. are presented. The specific qualitative methods - grounded theory, focus group, rapid assessment - is also demonstrated as a useful tools in research studies. Sborník příspěvků je zaměřen na kvalitativní přístup k výzkumu ve vědách o člověku, zejména v psychologii. Je pojednán teoretický a historický rámec kvalitativního přístupu. Tenze mezi kvalitativní a kvantitativní perspektivou ve výzkumu je reformulována jako nutnost kooperace mezi oběma výzkumnými přístupy. Sborník obsahuje kvalitativně pojaté studie rodiny, uživatelů drog, procesu psychoterapie aj., v nichž jsou užity specifické kvalitativní metody jako je zakotvená teorie, ohnisková skupina, a rapid assessment.
