Development of beverages containing lignans obtained from waste plant material (spruce knots). Analyzes of lignans, in particular 7-hydroxymatairesinol, by chromatographic methods, especially by HPLC with DAD and FLD detectors. Some analyzes had to be confirmed by LC-MS. Vývoj nápojů s obsahem lignanů získavaných z odpadního rostlinného materiálu (suky smrku ztepilého). Analýzy lignanů, zejména 7-hydroxymatairesinolu, pomocí chromatografických metod, zejména HPLC s DAD a FLD detektorem. Některé analýzy bylo nutné potvrdit pomocí LC-MS.

Research of usage of algal assemblage for phosphorus removal has been performed. The phosphorus removal capacity of the selected algal assemblage was tested. Based on long-term tests, design of a large-scale algal biofilm system for wastewater treatment was carried out.\n Byl proveden výzkum možnosti využití řasových společenstev pro odstranění fosforu. U vybraného řasového společenstvo byla testována jeho schopnost odstraňovat fosfor. Na základě dlouhodobých testů byl proveden návrh velkokapacitního systému řasových biofilmů pro dočišťování odpadních vod.\n

The aim of the study is to elaborate the socioeconomic analysis of the region at the confluence of the Vltava and Berounka rivers and proposing possible solutions for the shared governance of the peri-urban park (PP) in administratively divided region. The summary report contains results of the study as a qualitative sociological analysis to analyze the value attitudes of individual actors, communication barriers, designing models of governance and, the results of the questionnaires on the attitudes of the inhabitans. This socioeconomic study is part of a pilot project, the establishment of a suburban park Confluence, which is coordinated by The Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR). Cílem studie je zpracování socioekonomické analýzy oblasti Soutoku Vltavy a Berounky a navržení možných variant řešení sdílené správy příměstského parku (PP) v této administrativně roztříštěné oblasti. Souhrnná výzkumná zpráva obsahuje výsledky studie v podobě kvalitativní sociologické analýzy analyzující hodnotové postoje jednotlivých aktérů, komunikační bariéry, návrhy modelů správy území a výsledky dotazníků o postojích obyvatel. Zpracování socioekonomické studie probíhá v rámci pilotního projektu založení Příměstského parku Soutok, který koordinuje Institut plánování a rozvoje hl. m. Prahy (IPR).

This report is a summary of outputs implemented within the collaborative projects of the Institute of Global Change Research ASCR with the City of Brno and Observatory and Planetarium in Brno, which were implemented in 2015 and 2016 within the framework of two annual projects of the Carbon Balance of the Urban Ecosystem in 2015, and the Carbon Balance of Urban Ecosystems 2016. Předmětem této zprávy je shrnutí výstupů realizovaných v rámci projektů spolupráce Ústavu výzkumu globální změny AV ČR, v. v. i. se Statutárním městem Brno a Hvězdárnou a planetáriem Brno, příspěvkovou organizací, které byly realizovány v rámci dvou ročních projektů Uhlíková bilance urbánního ekosystému 2015 a Uhlíková bilance urbánního ekosystému 2016, které byly uskutečněny v roce 2015 a v roce 2016.

Agroclimatic analysis of perspective changes of starting production conditions for agricultural entities and related impacts to land valuation system

The aim of this report is to evaluate the analyses prepared within the contractual research collaboration implemented within the project number of the EEA-CZ02 1-039-2015-OV-called "Complex planning, monitoring, information and educational tools to adapt the territory to the impacts of climate change with major focus on agricultural and forest landscape management" funded by the EEA Fund 2009 - 2014 program CZ02 - Biodiversity and ecosystem services /. The study focuses on the South Moravian Region (SMR) and follows a report assessing the impact of expected climatic conditions prepared for the above-mentioned project in October 2016. Like the previous study, this part is processed based on the 5 selected global circulation models (GCMs) and for two emission scenarios and the period 2021-2040. Since a detailed description of the scenarios includes a previous report confines itself in this text only on the most important outputs relevant to SMR. Předmětem této zprávy je vyhodnocení analýz zpracovaných v rámci smluvní výzkumné spolupráce zadané v rámci řešení projektu číslo EHP-CZ02-OV-1-039-2015 s názvem „Komplexní plánovací, monitorovací, informační a vzdělávací nástroje pro adaptaci území na dopady klimatické změny s hlavním zřetelem na zemědělské a lesnické hospodaření v krajině“ financovaného z fondu EHP 2009 - 2014 programu CZ02 - Biodiverzita a ekosystémové služby/. Studie se zaměřuje na území Jihomoravského kraje (JmK) a navazuje na zprávu hodnotící dopady očekávaných klimatických podmínek zpracovanou pro výše uvedený projektu v říjnu 2016. Podobně jako předchozí studie byla i tato část zpracována na základě 5 vybraných globálních cirkulačních modelů (GCM) a to pro dva emisní scénáře a období 2021-2040. Protože detailní popis použitých scénářů obsahuje předešlá zpráva omezujeme se v tomto textu pouze na nejdůležitější výstupy relevantní pro JmK.

The report deals with balancing assessment of available water resources and moisture needs within defined "irrigation districts” of the Czech Republic with regard to the ongoing climate change Předmětem této zprávy je zpracování výsledků výzkumu zadaného v rámci smluvní spolupráce Ústavu výzkumu globální změny (zpracovatel) a Státního pozemkového úřadu (zadavatel), který byl zpracován ve spolupráci s dalšími výzkumnými partnery. Zpráva se zabývá bilančním hodnocením dostupných vodních zdrojů a vláhových potřeb v rámci vymezených "závlahových okrsků" České republiky s ohledem na probíhající klimatické změny.

A comprehensive approach to monitoring and mitigating the effects of drought in South Moravia

The main objective of the project were to operate drought monitoring in South-Moravian region and identify the specific drought threatened localities suitable for action package to improve their production and non production ecosystem services. Following partial goals were realized to achieve the main objectives: 1. Weekly operated drought monitoring system of South Moravia districts. 2. Create and publish drought forecasts for South Moravia region. 3. Monitor dry episodes in the South Moravia region and assess their impacts on the field production. Hlavním cílem projektu bylo provozovat aktuální monitoring sucha na území Jihomoravského kraje (JMK) a identifikovat konkrétní suchem ohroženou lokalitu vhodnou pro realizaci opatření ke zlepšení jejich ekosystémových produkčních i mimoprodukčních funkcí. K dosažení hlavního cíle byly realizovány následující cíle dílčí: 1.Průběžně (týdně) monitorovat okresy JMK. 2. Vytvářet a publikovat předpovědi sucha pro JMK. 3. Sledovat suché epizody na území JMK a posoudit jejich dopady na polní produkci.

Analysis of the appropriateness of the data from the IMU / GNSS units

The object of the air campaign Analysis of the IMU/GNSS data and it’s suitability, was to create a sufficient amount of GPS data to analyze the appropriateness of using the IMU/GNSS data for comparison with other IMU/GNSS data recorded at the same time by the ordering client. Based on the initial request data were acquired using the installed GPS sensors, on-board navigation system GARMIN G1000 and GNSS Applanix POS/AV 410. Data acquisition was performed during a single flight in total duration of 0:58 on February 16, 2016. During this flight we performed complete set of predetermined tests during different flight regimes.\n\n Účelem letecké kampaně Analýza vhodnosti dat z IMU/GNSS jednotek, bylo vytvoření dostatečného množství GPS dat pro analýzu vhodnosti využití dat IMU/GNSS pro porovnání s jinými IMU/GNSS daty pořízenými ve stejný čas zadavatelem. Podle zadání byla data pořizována za použití instalovaných GPS senzorů, palubního navigačního systému GARMIN G1000 a systému GNSS Applanix POS/AV 410. Akvizice dat byla provedena v průběhu jednoho letu v délce 0:58 dne 16.2.2016. V průběhu tohoto letu jsme provedli kompletní sadu předem stanovených testů, v různých režimech letu.

Submitted report introduced results obtained by researchers from the Institute of Global Change Research and the Department of Geoinformatics of University Palacký in Olomouc. From all activities the following activities are the most important: Habitat mapping of agricultural and non-agricultural plots in the Kopanický stream catchment according to Seják at al. (2003) a Seják at al. (2010); Computation of the indicators of landscape fragmentation and ecological stability for Kopanický stream catchment; Valuation of land use change from the point of view of the optimalization of the selected ecosystem functions performance and selected provisioning and regulating ecosystem service provision, including financial valuation; and Valuation of functional land use from point of views territorial planning of small villages and environmental demands to landscape. Předložená souhrnná výzkumná zpráva představuje řešení, dosažená pracovníky Ústavu výzkumu globální změny ve spolupráci s Katedrou geoinformatiky University Palackého v Olomouci. Z hlavních aktivit lze jmenovat Podrobné mapování biotopů, zemědělských i nezemědělských ploch pro území Kopaninského potoka a okolí Vadčic dle postupů uvedených v Seják a kol. (2003) a Seják a kol. (2010), Výpočet indikátorů fragmentace území a ekologické stability pro území Kopanického potoka, Modelové hodnocení změn využití území z hlediska optimalizace plnění vybraných produkčních ekosystémových funkcí a poskytování vybraných produkčních a regulačních ekosystémových služeb, včetně finančního vyjádření a Vyhodnocení vazeb funkčního využití částí území z hlediska optimálního souladu územně plánovacího procesu rozvoje malých sídel a environmentálních (ochrana přírody, ochrana půdy a vody) požadavků na krajinu.
