On the base of DSC measurements of seeds with defined water activity was found, that radish seeds have lower amount of strongly bonded water that chives seeds. Na základě DSC měření semen s definovanou aktivitou vody bylo zjištěno, že semena ředkvičky mají menší množství silně vázané vody než semena pažitky.

Polyaniline: conducting polymer

The contribution presents the fundamental properties of conducting polymers, which are illustrated on an example of polyaniline. After historical background, the preparation of polyaniline is described. The attention has been paid to the nanostructures produced by conducting polymers, viz. to polyaniline nanotubes. Finally, the applications of conducting polymers are discussed. Příspěvek prezentuje základní vlastnosti elektricky vodivých polymerů a dále se soustřeďuje na jejich typického reprezentanta, polyanilin. Po historickém úvodu je popsána příprava polyanilinu. Pozornost je dále věnována nanostrukturám, které vodivé polymery vytvářejí, jmenovitě polyanilinovým nanotrubkám. Závěrem jsou diskutovány aplikace vodivých polymerů.

The laser - difraction methods were used for particles size determination of CuCr2O4 pigment. The results were checket electron scanning microscopy. K určení velikosti částic pigmentu CuCr2O4 byly použity laserově - difrakční metody. Výsledky byly ověřeny elektronovou mikroskopií.

Negative impact of recycling technologies on living environment has been analyzed and concept of life cycle assessment (LCA - Life Cycle Assessment) has been shown as an efficient tool for selection of suitable recycling technology process. Several examples have proved usability of the mentioned approach. Byl analyzován negativní dopad recyklačních technologií na životní prostředí. Účinným nástrojem pro posuzování vhodnosti recyklační technologie je aplikace koncepce LCA (Life Cycle Assessment - hodnocení životního cyklu výrobku). Několik příkladů dokazuje užitečnost zmíněných přístupů.
