HF Doppler Radar Observations of Geomagnetic Pulsations

2014 - English Geomagnetic pulsations interact with the ionosphere, which influences the propagation properties of high frequency (HF) radio waves. In this work we present results of an experimental study focused on investigation of relations between the geomagnetic pulsations observed on the ground and the Doppler frequency shift oscillations observed remotely in the ionosphere by a Doppler sounding system in the Czech Republic. We study mainly the dependence of phase shift between them on various parameters. Wind resource assessment for selected sites in the territory of the Czech Republic – first series

2014 - Czech This set of studies analyses the wind conditions and expected wind power production at selected sites in the Czech Republic. At first, the calculation of wind conditions by VAS/WAsP 1, VAS/WAsP 2 and PIAP models is performed. Based on the comparison and analysis of model results, the generalized wind climate pertaining to the assessed site is estimated. The final results are calculated by WAsP model using this generalized wind climate. The expected wind power production of proposed wind turbine or wind farm is calculated as well as the map of simulated average wind speed and potential wind turbine production over the surrounding area. The uncertainty analysis is performed as well. This set consists of 7 partial reports. Jedná se o souhrn zpráv, analyzujících větrné podmínky a předpokládanou výrobu energie na vybraných lokalitách v České republice. Pro studované lokality byl proveden výpočet modely VAS/WAsP 1, VAS/WAsP 2 a PIAP. Jejich výsledky jsou navzájem porovnány a jsou analyzovány předpokládané chyby jednotlivých modelů. Na základě toho je sestaveno předpokládané zobecněné větrné klima v lokalitě, které slouží pro provedení finálních výpočtů modelem WAsP. Výsledkem je předpokládaná výroba energie větrnou elektrárnou či farmou větrných elektráren a mapa simulovaného prostorového rozložení průměrných rychlostí větru a výroby energie v okolí posuzované lokality. Součástí studie je též analýza nejistot dosažených výsledků. Souhrn sestává ze 7 dílčích zpráv. Počet stran: 17, 18, 17, 17, 17, 17, 16 + přílohy. We study influence of the neutral wave activity on the ionosphere in range of periods from minutes to days (acoustic waves to planetary waves). Wind resource assessment for large wind farm in the territory of Poland

2014 - Czech The expected energy production of proposed wind farm was calculated on the basis of local wind mast measurements. The study includes detailed analysis of measured wind data, correction of discovered inaccuracies and correction for long-term wind conditions (measure-correlate-predict analysis). The final calculation of wind energy production was performed by WAsP model. The uncertainty analysis was performed as well. Na základě stožárového měření větru byla analyzována předpokládaná výroba energie větrnou farmou. Studie zahrnuje podrobné vyhodnocení stožárového měření větru včetně korekce zjištěných chyb a opravy větrných podmínek na dlouhodobý normál. Finální výpočet energie byl proveden modelem WAsP. Součástí studie je též analýza nejistot dosažených výsledků.
