The topic of this bachelor thesis is options for entering a foreign market within European Union for companies. In my thesis, we are taking a closer look at ETA as a company and its potential to enter the Danish market. This work has a theoretical, analytical, and practical part in which we analyze the Danish market and the company and its options for expansion. In the theoretical part, we are concentrating on international trade but also on options that companies have for entering a foreign market. In the analytical part, we are dissecting ETA as a company and its products while also analyzing the Danish market as well as SWOT, PESTE, and Porter analysis. Lastly, in the practical part, we are choosing one form of entering the market which would be the best for ETA while also putting together costs related to this expansion. Témou tejto bakalárskej práce sú možnosti vstupu firiem na zahraničné trhy v rámci Európskej Únie. V práci sa bližšie zameriavame na českú spoločnosť ETA a ich potenciál na vstup na dánsky trh. Práca pozostáva z teoretickej, analytickej a praktickej časti v ktorej sa bližšie zameriavame na analýzu nielen dánskeho trhu ale aj spoločnosti a ich možností vstupu. V teoretickej časti sa zameriavam ako na medzinárodný obchod taktiež na rôzne možnosti vstupu. Analytická časť sa bližšie zameriava na spoločnosť ETA a ich produkty ako aj na analýzu dánskeho trhu, analýzy SWOT, PESTE a Poterovú analýzu. V praktickej časti vyberieme jednu možnosť vstupu, ktorú by sme odporučili práve spoločnosti ETA a taktiež zhrnieme náklady spojené so vstupom na nový trh.

The bachelor thesis aims to design a website for ESBD study program. Process of this creation is based on design thinking which is enhanced with the web design processes including sketching, wireframing, prototyping. At the same time, this work develops a new website assessment method used for analysis and benchmarking for the ideating the new solution. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl navrhnout webové stránky pro studijní program ESBD. Proces této tvorby je založen na metodě design thinking, které je rozšířeno o procesy webdesignu včetně skicování, wireframingu, prototypování. Tato práce zároveň vyvíjí novou metodu hodnocení webových stránek používanou pro analýzu a benchmarking pro navrhování nového řešení.

Rozvoj business modelu malé firmy s důrazem na e-shop

This bachelor thesis focuses on making suggestions for improving the e-shop of the ADW group of companies. The proposals are supported by an analysis of competitors, their e-shops and an analysis of the current e-shop. In the theoretical part, the theoretical concepts for this development are explained. In the analytical part, the current situation of the e-shop of ADW companies is evaluated and the areas where some development steps are needed to achieve the goals in the future are mentioned. In the last part of the bachelor thesis, there is a proposal part in which the necessary steps to develop the needed areas are suggested. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na sestavení návrhů na zlepšení e-shopu skupiny firem ADW. Návrhy jsou podložené analýzou konkurence, jejich e-shopů a analýzou současného e-shopu. V teoretické části jsou vysvětlené teoretické koncepty pro tento rozvoj. V analytické části je vyhodnocená současná situace e-shopu firem ADW a jsou zde zmíněné oblasti, ve kterých je potřeba provést určité kroky k rozvoji pro dosažení cílů v budoucnosti. V poslední části bakalářské práce je část návrhová, ve které jsou navrženy potřebné kroky k rozvoji potřebných oblastí.

The bachelor thesis deals with a research on the topic " Crash test and its effect on cooling module design". The thesis contains basic data of the European legislation, information about the companies performing crash tests, description and function of the individual parts of the cooling module and last but not least description of the elements compensating for low speed crash. A simulation of a frontal structural impact test is developed based on the RCAR code. Bakalářská práce se zabývá rešerší na téma „Crash test a jeho vliv na konstrukci chladícího modulu“. Práce obsahuje základní data Evropské legislativy, informace o společnostech provádějící nárazové testy, popis a funkce jednotlivých částí chladícího modulu a v neposlední řadě popis prvků kompenzující náraz v nízké rychlosti. Na základě předpisu společnosti RCAR je zpracována simulace čelního strukturálního nárazového testu.

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of project management tools in a specific company operating in the information technology industry. The project addressed by this thesis aims on the integration of duplicate systems resulting from the merger of two companies with the use of the PRINCE2 framework. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical methods and techniques used to process the thesis. The second part analyses the current state of the company and the initial information for the project. The thesis concludes with the third part, which contains the practical application of the methods for project design and the evaluation of benefits for the company. Bakalářská práce pojednává o využitím nástrojů projektového managementu v konkrétní společnosti působící v odvětví informačních technologií. Projekt, kterým se práce zabývá, je zaměřený na integraci duplicitních systémů vzniklých na základě sloučení dvou společností za pomoci využití metodiky PRINCE2. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části jsou popsány teoretické metody a postupy použité pro zpracování práce. Ve druhé části je analyzován současný stav společnosti a výchozí informace k projektu. Práce je zakončena třetí částí, která obsahuje praktické využití metod pro návrh projektu a zhodnocení přínosů pro společnost.

The main aim of this thesis is to add new interoperability tests to selected upstream projects. The requirement for such a thing originates in a need of developers to develop software more efficiently. This thesis describes widely used security protocols – Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS). Subsequently, it focuses on the process how software should be developed using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CI/CD), which consists of not only creating code but also of testing it in an efficient way. Particularly, Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle are explained. In the practical part, the process of choosing suitable tests can be seen, a configuration of various CI systems is described, and testing of the developed software. The test environment is the operating system Fedora, and tests rely on an open-source tool called Test Management Tool. Hlavným cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je pridanie nových testov interoperability do vybraných open-source projektov. Dôvod pre toto pramení v dôraze na zefektívňovanie práce vývojových tímov. Táto práca hlavne popisuje široko používané bezpečnostné protokoly -- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS). Ďalej sa zameriava na popis postupu, ako by mal byť softvér vyvíjaný s použitím CI/CD (priebežného integrovania a priebežného nasadzovania), čo pozostáva nie len z vytvárania kódu ale aj jeho testovania. Preto je v práci vysvetlený známy cyklus vývoja SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) a aj cyklus testovania STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). V praktickej časti je popísaný proces vyberania vhodných testov, konfigurácia rôznych CI systémov a následné testovanie vyvíjaného softvéru. Testovacie prostredie je výhradne operačný systém Fedora a testy sú závislé na open-source nástroji Test Management Tool.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the translation and analysis of professional study materials from Czech to English. The materials translated within this work pertain to the course Signals and Systems, and will be utilized at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication. The first part of this thesis focuses on translating selected excerpt of the teaching materials with an emphasis on the used terminology. The translation is carried out with consideration of its further use in the educational process and with the aim to achieve the greatest possible correspondence with the original text. The second part of the thesis deals with the analysis of language means using selected linguistic disciplines. This analysis aims to emphasize the importance and complexity of the process of translating professional texts, which requires not only knowledge of both languages but also a thorough understanding of the studied discipline. Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na překlad a analýzu studijních materiálů odborného zaměření z českého do anglického jazyka. Materiály, které jsou v rámci této práce přeloženy, se týkají předmětu Signály a Systémy a budou využívány na Fakultě elektrotechniky a komunikačních technologií Vysokého učení technického v Brně. První část práce se zaměřuje na překlad zvolené části odborných materiálů s důrazem na použitou terminologii. Překlad je prováděn s ohledem na jeho další použití v pedagogickém procesu a zároveň s cílem dosáhnout co největší shody s originálním textem. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýze jazykových prostředků pomocí zvolených jazykovědným disciplín. Tato analýza má za cíl zdůraznit důležitost a komplexnost procesu překladu odborných textů, který vyžaduje nejen znalost obou jazyků, ale také důkladné porozumění studované disciplíně.

Integrovaná výuka předmětu a cizího jazyka (CLIL) v odborných předmětech na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně

The bachelor’s thesis aims to frame the content and language integrated learning (CLIL) concept and analyse some factors influencing the successful implementation of CLIL in engineering courses at Brno University of Technology. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the advantages of CLIL, explains Coyle, Hood and Marsh’s CLIL framework, and describes different pedagogical models and strategies used to integrate CLIL into a curriculum. It also provides a survey of selected CLIL research studies which has shown that the use of CLIL at universities has a significant influence on learning a content-based subject through the medium of a foreign language. The practical part of the thesis deals with research focusing on the current situation of CLIL in engineering courses in the study programme English in Electrical Engineering and Informatics at Brno University of Technology. The results of the questionnaire survey among teachers and students are discussed, and possible improvements in CLIL lessons are considered. Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit koncepci integrované výuky předmětu a cizího jazyka (CLIL) a analyzovat některé faktory, které ovlivňují úspěšnou implementaci CLIL v odborných předmětech na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Teoretická část práce diskutuje výhody CLILu, vysvětluje model Coyleové, Hooda a Marshe a popisuje využití různých pedagogických modelů a strategií při integraci této metody do kurikula. Zároveň také předkládá přehled vybraných výzkumných studií zaměřených na využití CLILu, který ukazuje, že CLIL má na univerzitách významný vliv na výuku odborných předmětů prostřednictvím cizího jazyka. Praktická část práce se zabývá výzkumem zaměřeným na aktuální situaci CLILu v odborných předmětech studijního programu Angličtina v elektrotechnice a informatice na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Závěrem práce diskutuje výzkumná zjištění vyplývající z dotazníkového šetření mezi učiteli a studenty a navrhuje, jakým způsobem výuku prostřednictvím CLILu zdokonalit.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with a form of cybercrime that takes advantage of malicious software, also called malware. It outlines the basics of computer security threats, explaining relevant terms and concepts. Next, the thesis progresses through the most common and dangerous types of malware, describing each of them while also incorporating information such as how the particular type of malware has affected the world. Then, it focuses on the fundamentals of malware detection and outlines how users can protect themselves through prevention techniques. The thesis aims to create a manual that ordinary computer users could use to protect themselves from different types of malware. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o formě počítačové kriminality, která využívá škodlivý software zvaný malware. Nastiňuje základy počítačových bezpečnostních hrozeb a vysvětluje relevantní pojmy a koncepty. Poté práce postupuje přes nejběžnější a nejnebezpečnější typy malwaru, přičemž každý z nich popisuje a zároveň začleňuje informace o tom, jak konkrétní druh malwaru ovlivnil svět. Práce se dále zabývá základy detekce malwaru a popisuje, jak se uživatelé mohou chránit pomocí preventivních technik. Cílem práce je vytvořit manuál, který by mohli použít běžní uživatelé počítačů ke své vlastní ochraně před malwarem.

Aplikace pro rozpoznávání loga automobilové značky

The thesis deals with finding a suitable neural network for recognizing a brand of a car by its logo and programming and training this network. This is then implemented into a mobile application that recognizes the logo on a newly taken photo or on an image selected from the mobile phone's storage. Práce se zabývá nalezením vhodné neuronové sítě pro rozpoznání loga automobilové značky a implementací a trénováním této sítě. Ta je následně implementována do mobilní aplikace, která umožňuje rozpoznání loga na základě nově pořízené fotografie, nebo na základě obrázku vybraného z úložiště mobilního telefonu.
