The conference proceedings were published on the occasion of the 100 year-anniversary of the Institute of Ethnology of the Academy Sciences of the Czech Republic. The published studies deal with history of ethnology and ethnography, with collections and documentation of folk culture (first of all folk songs) and with theory and methodology of ethnological research. The studies include abstracts translated into German. Sborník příspěvků z konference vychází ke 100. výročí trvání Etnologického ústaavu AV ČR, příspěvky se vztahují k historii ústavu a dějinám oboru, sběrům a dokumentaci lidové kultury (především lidové písně a k tématům současnosti, teoriím a metodám).
