The use classification and nomenclature systems in the Catalogue of clinical guidelines

It uses classification systems and nomenclature for sorting and searching for relevant documents and also for future easy integration with electronic health record in the related decision support systems Článek popisuje Katalog klinických doporučených postupů, který shromažduje podrobné informace o v České republice platných dokumentech klinických doporučených postupů. Pro třídění a vyhledávání relevantních dokumentů a také pro budoucí snadné propojení s elektronickým zdravotním záznamem v navazujících systémech podpory rozhodování využívá klasifikační systémy a nomenklatury. HTA and EBM: different names, a similar concept

2010 - Czech The terms "Health Technology Assessment" and "Evidence-Based Medicine" are increasingly mentioned in various contexts recently. Projects in this area in terms of content and methodology often overlap, other time diverge. This work deals with the analysis of the motivation and objectives of processes, which stand in the background of the above mentioned concepts. In deeper analysis of their historical development and present interpretation one can trace not only common elements, but also the mutual complementarity. Pojmy „Health Technology Assessment“ a „Evidence-Based Medicine“ jsou v posledních letech stále více zmiňovány v nejrůznějších kontextech. Projekty v této oblasti se co do náplně i metodiky mnohdy překrývají, jindy zase jakoby rozcházejí. Tato práce se zabývá analýzou motivací a cílů procesů, které stojí na pozadí výše uvedených pojmů. Při hlubší analýze jejich historického vývoje i současného pojetí lze vysledovat nejen společné prvky, ale také vzájemnou komplementaritu. Logistic and Poisson regression

2010 - Czech The work describes methods of logistic and Poisson regression for the analysis of contingency tables. It explains general principles of hypothesis testing about the significance of their parameters. Particular methods can be derived also within a general theory of generalized linear models. For this general context also principles of variable selection are investigated. It is shown how properties of particular methods correspond to properties, which can be derived in the framework of generalized linear models. Práce popisuje metody logistické a Poissonovy regrese pro analýzu kontingenčních tabulek. Vysvětluje obecné zákonitosti testování hypotéz o významnosti jejich parametrů. Jednotlivé metody jsou zasazeny do obecného kontextu zobecněných lineárních modelů, v němž jsou i vysvětleny principy hledání vhodného regresního modelu. Je ukázáno, jak vlastnosti jednotlivých metod odpovídají obecným vlastnostem zobecněných lineárních modelů. Implementation of medical guidelines in an electronic form

2010 - Czech Medical guidelines are an important tool for clinical decision-making not only for physicians, but also on a wider scale tool for increasing the efficiency of medical care. Currently, there are tools for creating electronic forms of medical guidelines and their use in clinical practice but their expansion is hampered by the absence of a concept for their collective use and by limited use of electronic health record. Lékařské doporučené postupy jsou důležitým nástrojem nejen klinického rozhodování lékařů, ale v širším měřítku také nástrojem pro zvýšení efektivity poskytování zdravotnické péče. V současné době existují nástroje pro vytváření elektronických forem lékařských doporučených postupů a jejich používání v klinické praxi, jejich rozšíření však brání absence koncepce, která by s jejich hromadným využitím počítala a omezené používání elektronického zdravotního záznamu. Are the methods of cardiovascular diseases prevention sufficiently effective?

2010 - Czech The paper discusses various methods of prevention of cardiovascular diseases, which are the leading cause of death and leading cause of morbidity and disability of the whole population. The question in the title cannot be clearly answered. Methods of prevention are known, the positive impact of well carried out prevention is also unknown from a series of studies. However, the results of prevention in practice are not satisfactory. Článek se zabývá různými metodami prevence kardiovaskulárních onemocnění, které jsou vedoucí příčinou úmrtí a hlavní příčinou nemocnosti a invalidity celé populace. Na otázku v nadpisu sdělení nelze jednoznačně odpovědět. Metody prevence jsou známy, příznivý dopad dobře prováděné prevence je z řady studií rovněž znám. Přesto výsledky prevence v praxi nejsou uspokojivé. Proposal of Portal for Sharing RDF Remarks

2010 - Czech The semantic web vision is mostly realized by describing the universum by ontologies. Ontologies precisely define objects as well as their data structure and hierarchy. Such approach is suitable for machines, but not for common users. The proposal tries to find a compromise keeping data to be automatically processed and data intuitive management by end users in a form of a portal based on describing object by annotated remarks. Vize sémantického webu v dnešní době našla uplatnění zejména v popisování světa pomocí ontologií. Ontologie přesně definují popisované objekty včetně jejich datové struktury a hierarchie. Tento přístup je vhodný pro strojové zpracování, avšak není nikterak přívětivý pro širokou veřejnost. laické uživatele webu. Článek proto hledá kompromisní řešení, které zachovává jak strojovou zpracovatelnost dat, tak intuitivní práci s nimi a navrhuje vkládat popisy objektů ve formě anotovaných poznámek.
