Transformations in the Interpretation of Music Folklore: From the Protection of Everyday Culture to the Emergence of a Music Genre (Using the Czech Republic as a Case Study)

From the 1960s onwards, efforts began to develop in Czech ethnology, which gradually began to include folklore manifestations in their second existence in professional research. The field of folklorism sometimes overlapped with the existence of folk traditions, sometimes built on them, and sometimes was only inspired by them to varying degrees. The distinction in such defined categories was not easy even in the past, and with the increasingly rapid development of society, it became blurred in the general consciousness. Within this scope, a contemporary broad music genre, music folklore, has emerged that is not easy to define in terms of content. In this paper, the authors outline its historical formation, show model moments of its development, and deal with its polyfunctionality: many collectives present themselves not only on stage (together with dancers) and in concert settings (independently), but also participate in local ethno-cultural traditions, dance parties, family celebrations (weddings, birthdays), and commercially focused events. To illustrate this, the paper uses archival source material, and field research based on interviews with selected musicians. Od 60. let 20. století se v české etnologii začaly rozvíjet snahy, které postupně začaly zařazovat projevy folkloru v jejich druhé existenci do odborného výzkumu. Oblast folklorismu se někdy překrývala s existujícími lidovými tradicemi, někdy na ně navazovala a někdy se jimi pouze v různé míře inspirovala. Rozlišení v takto vymezených kategoriích nebylo snadné ani v minulosti a s příchodem stále rychlejším vývojem společnosti se v obecném povědomí rozostřilo. V tomto rámci vznikl současný široký hudební žánr zakořeněný v hudebním folkloru, který není snadné obsahově vymezit. Příspěvek nastiňuje průběh jeho historického formování, ukazuje modelové momenty jeho vývoje a zabývá se jeho polyfunkčností: mnoho kolektivů se prezentuje nejen na jevišti (spolu s tanečníky) a v hudebních pořadech. koncertním prostředí (samostatně), podílí se ale také na místních etnokulturních tradicích, tanečních zábavách, rodinných oslavách (svatby, narozeniny) a komerčně zaměřených akcích. akce. K ilustraci popsaných faktů článek využívá archivní pramenný materiál a terénní výzkum založený na základě rozhovorů s vybranými hudebníky

This technical report summarizes the results of the assessment aimed at evaluation of the impact analysis of the increase in the performance of EDU II units in connection with the project '6729 - Use of design margins of the Dukovany reactor units' on the vertical stability and dynamic response of the reactor internal components, including consideration of the LOCA DN500 event, specifically, it is an assessment of two reports of author collectives from ÚJV, a. s.: M. Klemenc and P. Gál: 'Analyzes of the impact of the power increase on the dynamic behavior of RIC during the LOCA DN500 event, report ÚJV DITI 2301/1242, 12/2020 and M. Švrček a J. Vyčichl: 'Analyzes of the impact of increasing power on vertical stability and vibration response (high-cycle fatigue) of RIC', report ÚJV DITI 2301/1307, 08/2021. Tato technická zpráva shrnuje výsledky posouzení výpočtové dokumentace zaměřené na hodnocení analýzy dopadu zvýšení výkonu bloků EDU II v souvislosti s projektem '6729 − Využití projektových rezerv bloků EDU II' na vertikální stabilitu a dynamickou odezvu vnitřních částí reaktoru včetně uvažování nehody LOCA DN500, konkrétně se jedná o posouzení dvou zpráv autorských kolektivů z ÚJV, a. s.: 'M. Klemenc a P. Gál: Analýzy dopadu zvýšení výkonu na dynamické chování VČR při nehodě LOCA DN500, zpráva ÚJV DITI 2301/1242, 12/2020' a M. Švrček a J. Vyčichl: Analýzy dopadu zvýšení výkonu na vertikální stabilitu a vibrační odezvu (vysokocyklovou únavu) VČR, zpráva ÚJV DITI 2301/1307, 08/2021.

This technical report was prepared within the framework of the contract "OZM-LCF-2023: Experimental evaluation of the properties of steel 1.4529 in terms of low cycle fatigue". The report clearly documents all relevant information concerning the technical performance of the contract, starting from the design of the experimental program, through the protocols of the experiments performed, to the summary evaluation of the program, including proposals for possible contract extension and follow-up experimental activities. Tato technická zpráva byla zpracována v rámci zakázky „OZM-LCF-2023: Experimentální hodnocení vlastností oceli 1.4529 z hlediska nízkocyklové únavy“. Ve zprávě jsou přehledně zdokumentovány všechny podstatné informace týkající se odborného plnění zakázky počínaje návrhem experimentálního programu, přes protokoly o provedených experimentech až po souhrnné vyhodnocení programu vč. návrhů pro případné rozšíření zakázky a navazující experimentální činnost.

The certified methodology contains comprehensive recommendations and draft procedures for analysing the current Czech legislation on the liability of entities that will participate in autonomous mobility in road transport. The Certified Methodology proposes a procedural guide for both law applying authorities and the legal and technical community, with the aim of answering the question of how to make a procedural or substantive assessment. the liability of entities involved in the operation of autonomous vehicles. Certifikovaná metodika obsahuje souhrnná doporučení a návrhu postupů, jak analyzovat současnou českou právní úpravu odpovědnosti subjektů, které se budou podílet na autonomní mobilitě v silniční dopravě. Certifikovaná metodika navrhuje procesní návod určený jak pro orgány aplikující právo, tak i pro odbornou právní a technickou veřejnost, s cílem odpovědět na otázku, jak procesně či hmotněprávně posuzovat odpovědnost subjektů podílejících se na provozu autonomních vozidel.

Methodological material summarizing variants of the habitat conservation principles for butterflies inhabitting mesophilic and humid grasslands under various scenarios of climate change. The species of interest, protected by the EU Habitats Directive, are Euphydryas aurinia, Phengaris nausithous, Phengaris teleius, Lycaena dispar and Lycaena helle. It includes the predictions of suitable locations for spontaneous or assisted colonization. Metodický materiál shrnující varianty zásad péče o stanoviště motýlů mezofilních a vlhkých nelesních stanovišť při různých predikovaných variantách klimatické změny. Zájmovými druhy, chráněnými Směrnicí o stanovištích EU, je hnědásek chrastavcový (Euphydryas aurinia), modrásek bahenní (Phengaris nausithous), modrásek očkovaný (Phengaris teleius), ohniváček černočárný (Lycaena dispar) a ohniváček rdesnový (Lycaena helle). Součástí je predikce vhodných lokalit pro spontánní nebo asistovanou kolonizaci.

The presented methodology proposes utilizatíon of the spectroscopy of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) as another analytical technique for the identification of compounds in atmospheric aerosols. This technique makes significantly increases the number of deterined substances and thus a number of possible markers, which can be subsequently used together with other methods to identify sources of air pollution using advanced statistical\nanalysis. Among the markers determined by NMR spectroscopy there are several organic and sulfonic acids or carbohydrates, wich are characteristic for relevant sources of air pollution. The updated methodology also shows the identification of a biogenic source that previous methodologies were not able to determine. Předkládaná metodika navrhuje využití spektroskopie nukleární magnetické rezonance (NMR) jako další analytické techniky pro identifikaci sloučenin v atmosférických aerosolech. Tato technika umožňuje výrazně zvýšit počet stanovovaných látek a tfm i případný počet markerů, které lze následně ve spojení s jinými metodami využít pro identifikaci zdrojů znečištění ovzduší pomocí pokročilé statistické analýzy. Mezi markery stanovované pomocí\nNMR spektroskopie náleží různé organické kyseliny, sulfonové kyseliny nebo sacharidy, které jsou charakteristické pro příslušné zdroje znečištění. Aktualizovaná metodika také představuje identifikaci biogenního zdroje, který předcházející metodiky nedokázaly stanovit.

Evolution in Czech public attitudes towards war refugees from Ukraine

In the wake of Russia’s military assault on Ukraine at the end of February 2022, an atmosphere of solidarity prevailed in the Czech Republic and most of the Czech population supported the country’s intake of war refugees. By the end of November 2022, that support had fallen by approximately one quarter. Czechs’ perceptions of how well integrated Ukrainians were into Czech society worsened similarly. This change in Czech public attitudes over time did not, however, stem primarily from personal or first hand experience of welcoming refugees, rather, it was related to a gradual decrease in public interest in the conflict after the initial shock of it first beginning. Although several aspects of Ukrainian refugees’ integration improved in real terms in the second half of 2022, for example in relation to schools and to the labour market, this progress was not reflected in Czech public opinion. Po vojenském útoku Ruska na Ukrajinu koncem února 2022 v Česku převládla atmosféra solidarity a většina Čechů přijímání válečných uprchlíků podporovala. Tato podpora do konce listopadu klesla zhruba o čtvrtinu. Podobně se zhoršovala vnímaná míra integrace Ukrajinců do české společnosti. Změna postojů české společnosti v čase však nevycházela primárně z osobní zkušenosti a z prožitého příchodu uprchlíků, ale souvisela spíše s postupně opadávajícím zájmem po vypuknutí konfliktu a prvotním šoku. Ačkoli se integrace Ukrajinců v některých dimenzích ve druhé polovině roku 2022 reálně zlepšila, například ve školách nebo na trhu práce, do vnímání české společnosti se tyto dílčí pokroky nepromítly.

This study presents an easily applicable method for the study of price trends in residential property markets and the factors that affect them. The study describes the basic reasoning behind the method and presents results of using it to analyse house price increases in the Czech Republic during the period of 2013-2021, and to analyse various future housing market scenarios. Tato studie představuje snadno aplikovatelnou metodu pro studium vývoje cen rezidenčních nemovitostí a faktorů, které je ovlivňují. Obsahem studie je popis základní logiky metody, výsledky jejího použití k analýze růstu cen nemovitostí v ČR v letech 2013–2021 a výsledky analýzy možných budoucích scénářů.
