The aim of the two-year experiment was to verify the ability of four species of sedges and natural pioneering plants to grow on substrate-free floating islands. Cílem dvouletého pokusu bylo ověřit schopnost růstu čtyř druhů ostřic a rostlin z přirozeného náletu na bezsubstrátových plovoucích ostrovech.

The limnological measurement and research of periphyton and aquatic macrophytes were conducted in the framework of 'Strategy AV 21, post-mining landscape restoration' in 2020. Despite the good ecological potential in Lakes Milada and Most, there are several indications of possible future deterioration of water quality (e.g., the occurrence of subsurface cyanobacterial maxima in Lake Most, excessive growth of periphyton mats in both lakes, strong bottom anoxia in Lake Milada). Zpráva shrnuje výsledky limnologických měření a výzkumu perifytonu a vodních makrofyt probíhajícího v rámci programu Strategie AV 21, Záchrana a obnova krajiny v roce 2020. Ačkoli jakost vody v jezera Most a Milada odpovídá dobrému ekologickému potenciálu, zaznamenali jsme náznaky možného budoucího zhoršení (např. výskyt podpovrchových sinicových maxim v jezeře Most, nadměrný rozvoj nárostových řas v obou jezerech, výskyt anoxie u dna v jezeře Milada).

The report summarizes results of the five years lasting experiment on the developmental rate, fecundity and lifespan of the large pine weevils, which developed and have been fed with various conifer species. Zpráva shrnuje informace o rychlosti vývoje, plodnosti a délce života klikorohů borových, kteří byli chováni na různých druzích jehličnatých dřevin. Vzhledem k dlouhověkosti modelového druhu jde o výsledky pětiletého experimentu.

The aim of the report is to document the effect of chloride toxicity on aquatic organisms in the recipients in the vicinity of the D8 motorway, km 48,276 - 64,689, where the motorway passes through the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. The summary of the achieved results for the vegetation season 2020 is the content of the presented report. Cílem zprávy je dokumentovat vliv toxicity chloridů na vodní organismy v recipientech v okolí dálnice D8 km 48,276 – 64,689, kde dálnice prochází CHKO České středohoří. Sumarizace dosažených výsledků za vegetační sezónu 2020 je obsahem předkládané zprávy.

The publication contains an evaluation of surveying 36 reservoirs and artificial lakes in the years 1985–2020 in different parts of the Czech Republic by four sampling methods, which are further divided according to the sampling environment, daily periods and targeted age groups of predatory fish. The methods are gillnets, seines, trawls and continuous boat electrofishing. The catchability, standardized and relative abundance of asp, pikeperch, pike and catfish are evaluated. Based on these data, the reader can decide which method to use to detect a particular predatory species and compare the results with the situation in other localities. Publikace obsahuje vyhodnoceni průzkumů 36 nádrží a umělých jezer v letech 1985–2020 v různých částech České republiky čtyřmi dolovnými metodami, které jsou dále členěny podle vzorovaného prostředí, denní periody a cílové věkové skupiny dravých ryb. Jedná se o tetanové, zátahové a vlečné sítě a kontinuální elektrolov z lodi. Vyhodnocena je ulovitelnost, standardizovaná a relativní početnost bolena dravého, candáta obecného, štiky obecné a sumce velkého. Na základě těchto údajů se čtenář může rozhodnout, kterou metodu použit k detekci konkrétního dravého druhu v danem prostředí a zjištěné výsledky porovnat se stavem na jiných lokalitách.

Complex survey of the fish stock of Lake Chabařovice in 2020.

Aim of the complex ichthyological survey of Lake Chabařovice was to map the current state and succession of lake’s fish stock with particular emphasis put on abundance and biomass estimates of all fish species, evaluation of possible risks to the further development of the fish stock and recommendations for the lake management. Summarization of achieved results and recommendations for further monitoring are included in the presented report. Cílem ichtyologického průzkumu jezera Chabařovice bylo zmapování stavu a vývoje rybí obsádky, přičemž důraz byl kladen zejména na odhad početnosti a biomasy jednotlivých druhů ryb, na odhad rizik dalšího vývoje rybí obsádky a doporučení dalšího obhospodařování jezera. Sumarizace dosažených výsledků a návrh doporučení pro další sledování jsou obsahem předkládané zprávy.
